Good mp3, but the touchscreen is just SHIT! All the funtions work fine, but the touchscreen is not sensitive AT ALL. you have to have long AND pointy nails to use your fingers. It comes with a stylus, but it still needs multiple attemps at selecting things. I think its just fine, but thinking of finding an aftermarket touchscreen for this(if there are any)

It garbage, it couldnt pick up radio stations worth a shit, I have terrible hearing so most mediocre mp3 players sound decnt but the audio output on the e6 was horrendous.

Its funny to some people comparing this to IPODs, HELLO, it's not $200, Its not going to do wonders for you, its an MP3 player with extras at a low cost. Ever MP3 player I see that has touch features, everyone compares it to IPODs, or if you get a touch phone, your phone is compared to IPhones. If your an Apple person, fine, but STOP comparing your device to those that others may not afford or are smart enough to not purchase one...

I don`t remember how to get to this video, but if I`m not mistaking, I saw a video

of someone removing the stylus from its' place on the player. There is a place on the player itself where the stylus fits.

I`ll try to see if I can get that video, and then tell you where it is.

I am thinking VERY SERIOUSLY about getting one of these puppies.

That's right. Depends on like whether you have the front or the back of the player facing up.

But I am actually thinking about this, and It particularly helps me that walmart is selling these players online.

I have a walmart store in my hometown, and I can get a little help on getting one of these.

I`m hoping that I can try doing this for Christmas. I like the Arcsoft MediaConverter Software that comes with it on the software cd too.

yea i got one of these. i always carry this and my 2nd gen ipod touch so i have all the camera and stuff, and the apps and internet. the camera on the ematic is very good i would even compare it to a Droid Incredibles camera. i highly recommend this.

They have others so check these out first. they are alot better than anything out there without monthly fees (meaning Smartphones) its basically a HTC Smartphone with HD camera,Video, Media, Wifi, app store, and all that other good stuff in one. Just go to the Archos website and look around you wont be dissapointed. BTW I replace the ematic with the Archos 43 and i dont even need a ipod anymore . :)

For anyone who is thinking about getting this product, I highly suggest that you don't. The touch screen is not sensitive to touch. You'll have to push a bit harder than you should on the screen. The date and times will change if you don't use it everyday. I purchase this product for my brother for Christmas and I am very disappointed. Save your money and get a ipod nano.

@final4hawks about the same, this has the external speaker and camera, which the ipod touch 1st gen lack, but this is slightly for breakable. Also, if you download the new software for the ipod, you can play games on it, so about the same.

You know, as far as I see it, this player is really a good one and it is worth getting if you can't afford to spend over $200 to get an ipod touch. This one gets close to the ipod touch, and I would definitely recommend it as a good buy.

The player does play MP4 video formats. It may be in the pain in the ass but most of the video played on the player has to be converted into 320 X 240 formats, i use the (Ultra Mobile 3GP Video Converter) It's mainly designed for video played on phones, but works great. The microphone does kind of suck but i don't use that function. The radio broadcasts recording feature is pretty awesome, works great. Expandable memory is convenient, I've got an 8gb micro SD. It's awesome for the price.

No zoom option available. For pictures the sizes available are: 320X240, 640X480,1024X768, 1280X960, 1600X1200, 2048X1536, 2304X1728, and 2624X1968. With video: 176X144, 224X176, and 320X240. You can adjust the brightness and add effects, along with timer for pictures. Also, it has a webcam function via USB.

@Doreendib To reset, you have to find this tiny hole on the very top of the player. Mine has a label that says reset right under it. You put something like the tip of an earring or a thumbtack or something in that and its supposed to reset.

i bought it....its pretty cool, the mic isnt very good, it doesnt play mp4s, camera is as good as it says, touch screen is okay, not the most responsive, could be made with better quality plastic, the paint should be longer lasting, but overall, it does what it says it should. it didnt go over, or less than what it said it should do
