  • waste of money, evo 212 plus keeps my 2500k at a 1ghz overclock and it cost 50 bucks...

  • wow !!! the water cooling components cost about 150 $ for CPU and GPU and if you asked for the same build online it will cost you about 480 $ at digital storm for example

  • what are the fittings used on the resouvouir?

  • im jelly

  • 1 Ghz OC with watercooling and it's at borderline temps? I have a 1 Ghz OC on my i3 540 on air, with a 20€ cooler running 10 degrees under max temp.. lulz.

  • If just the blue power light would be green....

  • What LED light strips are those?

  • @IncidiineGaming prob Logisys CLK12GN2 12" cold cathode

  • Ive been tearing my hair out trying to find an optimal loop because I was thinking the liquid heated fast and I needed a rad between major components (Cpu & Gpu)

  • @360faraji The order of the component are irrelevant. Your system will reach an equibrilum under full load. The water delta will not mean anything, since it will only be a few degrees.

  • Shut up and take my money... I want that thing!

  • cool music!!!!

  • how much would be this computer. the whole thing.. i want one just like this one.

  • @fr1j0l170 5k at least with those cards and CPU.

  • @cgountanis

    CPU = 1k

    GPU's=1.3k

    mobo= 340

    case=660

RAM= no i dea, since its discontinued. But i imagine they were around 200 bucks in total

    watercooling stuff = 300-400

    SSD's = 300

so yea around 5k, which isnt too bad, i thought it would be more like 7k. You could save a lot by getting dual classified 580s instead of 590s as well as a cheaper case and CPU

  • 50c gaming load! i get that at idle with gtx 470 sli!

  • damn this is complex stuff, damn. I guess I just stick to air cooling for now. AS usual. Or I'll buy one of those computers when I have the money lol

  • WOW

  • JUST PUT YOUR COMPUTER IN THE FRIDGE

  • @BraceEdits like a boss...

  • @BraceEdits Ironically... that sounds like a good idea. I will try that and post a video on it. Might use a deep freezer tho!!!!!

  • @BraceEdits Thats actually a quite good theory ... im so gonna make this ...

  • @BraceEdits Not sure if serious/retarded...

  • @BraceEdits that would be random you have a lan party? just bring a mini fridge!

  • so im looking into building a realy nice gaming pc super upgradeble overclockabkle, should i do one of those baby oil cooled one or just a watter cooled one?

  • I wish i had a gaming pc. I need to somehow get enough money to make it

  • @Zelot37 Do you have a job? If you do then you should just save up for one! It toke me 2 and a half years to save up for mine and it was freakin worth it :)

  • @lmBored01

Im thinking of a summer job, so it took you 2 years to save up for it? was it like a $15 hour job type thingi?

  • @Zelot37 He might have other things to pay off like school and bills. If you're young and don't have much to any reponsibilies then you could save up $1000 in a matter of a few months which could allow you to buy a very good gaming system. I don't see how it took him 2 years to save unless he was trying to save a few thousand or unless he has other reponsibilitys to tend to.

  • @DarxPhil this is true, i bought a 2000 dollar PC with paper route money like 5 years ago

  • Is that your personal pc?

  • Do you have to refill the reservoir, or clean out the loop to stop it from getting gunky, if so how often on average do you have to do it?

  • but can it play minecraft?

  • what size is that tubing?

  • No offense Sebastian, but you should have been a little more thorough in your guide.

  • A few questions, what are the advantages of water cooling? Who actually needs water cooling? Are water cooled computers noisy? How much does it cost on average?

  • @nousername21 I can answer all those questions with just a few answers:

Advantages: Extremely quiet & much cooler components than air cooling.

    Who needs it: Nobody.

Cost: There's a wide range depending on your budget and your needs. Add these up: Pump + Reservoir + Tubing + CPU block + optional full-cover GPU block (you can google the prices of all of these)

Don't consider watercooling the following: Motherboard Chipset, RAM, Hard Drives

  • @pcchip3 Thanks man! Which brand is usually good?

  • @pcchip3 It isnt much colder than air cooling, it's once you start overclocking more that it sets a wider gap due to better conductivity of heat.

  • @nousername21 if you get a prearranged setup (xspc makes a couple) you're looking at about $150 after taxes/shipping. If you want you can go onto the markets of tech forums and look for second hand parts. At that point its w/e you can snatch for a good price. Pumps to look for - swiftech mcp655 or xspc pump/reservoir combo (only recommended for cpu only loops)

  • how can i make my 6core to a 12core???

  • @TheKuerbisaffe you can't just make a processor 12 cores...your CPU has 6 cores and if it supports hyper threading, it will have 12 threads.

  • Did anyone else notice that he not using a genuine copy of windows 7 during the stress test of the cpu?

  • I hope the freshly cooled water hits the memory block first, or else you'll probably actually end up *warming* it up more than it already was.

  • @pcchip3 the memory is the first thing it hits :)

  • Hey Linus, can you make a video where you talk about how to empty and clean the loop?

  • @aakervikis You took the word right out of my mouth. Hopefully you warn't kissing me. (Unless you a woman :) )

  • The cards stuck out the top of the case?

  • Im the 70 000 veiwer! :D Keep it up Linus!

  • does anyone know if a Black Ice GT Stealth 360 black - XFlow triple 120mm radiator (30fpi) with 120mm noctua fans with cool a i7 2600k and a 7950 (not overclocked yet) or is it better to also add a additional single 120mm rad

its all in the corsair 800d

    anyhelp is much appresiated

  • @InterestedinTech oh ya i forgot to add all the fittings and the tubing are 3/8 id and 5/8 od

  • we got our SLi fittings so these can be adjusted SLightly.. =,D ♥

  • What speed should the pump be set at?

  • Liquid cooling is to much of a pain in the ass

  • where could i find that motherbored and whats its name

  • @codmister10 Gigabyte G1 series ;)

  • get a life...

  • @mr931126 dude these are hobbys like others, so just let them / us do it if we have fun by doing it and keep your thoughts in your mind.

  • @ElectroHouseTunez okey, i didnt want to be mean.

  • @mr931126 grow up

  • pure awesomeness

  • well worth the wait. very nice video linus and slick

  • Come to Daddy

I wish i could afford such a machine. Nice vid guys!

  • i want all the specs of that computure

  • i want one of your computers hahaha

  • Шланг для поливки сада ))

  • Thumps up if you did not skip the "Far Cry 3" Trailer Ad.

  • You should make a guide showing how to drain a system, would be a great addition on this water cooling guide !

  • the video cards are sideways O.O are the pci expansion slots on the top of the tjo11?

  • @ChanceReh I also noted that and I dont like that layout but what a great system.

  • What case is this?

  • @MrItsChris silverstone tj-07

  • @superdudeb1

its an tj-11 the tj-07 is smaler a view jears older, but mutch moe pritty

  • @SuesseStille Its a tj-11, it is smaller, a few years older, but much more pretty

  • What case is this?

  • any on tec cooling blocks :)

  • My computer is so loud, I can't hear your computer.

  • can someone tell me if a have a graphics card that has HDMI & DVI & VGA Can i plug one monitor into the HDMI and the other in the DVI

  • @Games49oogle yes

  • is the Cpu temps in Fahrenheit? or celcius :\?

  • @schreech7202 Celsius always :)

  • @Titegstel Arent thoose temps rather high then :\? id not want to go past 70c on ym system

  • What was that? I can't hear you my rig is too loud >.<

  • That case is HUGE!

  • So are the other fans (the ones above the basement but below the motherboard) still running? Or is the only cooling from the water?

  • @assassin26764 I am guessing they would be, to keep the inside and motherboard cool.

  • 20:49 epic!

  • Comment removed

  • Chuck Norris is cooling his rig wiith a oven

  • @Minosneumann That would have been funny if you used proper grammar.

  • @Minosneumann an*

  • @Minosneumann an oven, not a oven.

  • @AForkSpoon grammar NAZI!!

  • @Minosneumann an**

  • My Machine is overclocked and i cooled it with aircooling. its quiet too^^

  • 18:05 Why has he got 3 different web browsers?

  • 22:39 Made in China :)))

  • @MrShadowady look around yourself....everything is made in China(PRC)!! ;-)

  • @MrShadowady

God created humans everything else was made in China ;)

  • BREAKING NEWS! Linus died at 20:49!!! XD

  • i am waiting for that one ...................

  • Sweet

  • Try not to use scissors to cut tubing and buy the thickest walled tubing as possible helps stop kinking in tight bends . If using water ensure its de mineralised and not de ionized as both are often refered to as the same. Cant go wrong with compression fittings i prefer them to barbs.

  • @Pinkyuk10 what would you recommend to cut tubing with?

  • @masterchief3k you can buy plastic tube cutters from water cooling websites or plumbers merchants for anywhere between £5 -£12. they will give you a perfect clean cut.

  • Ahhh... I wish I had the money to dump on a top of the line cards and watercooling... 2500k and SLI GTX460's get me by fine, but its not the overkill I long for. :(

  • do they use the same compression fittings for the reservoir?

  • jeeze my i7 is only at 35 to 29 degrees at 4.8 ghz with a hyper 212

  • @JonahhChavarria His temps were under a 100% load across all 6 cores... 35-29 degrees is idle... no way your cpu is that cool under full load at that clock speed. That's just crazy talk.

  • @XxRebelRaiderxX your right lol! i shoulda paid more attention, i thought those were his idle speeds lol yeah hella no i wish my 7 cores were that temp on all loads lol

  • im confused he said g 3/8 fittings and then he said g 1/2 fittings which is it

  • @fluffydude56 The pump has 1/2" fittings. everything else is 3/8".

  • @SocratesProdgy oh ok so the tubes is 3/8 ok lol i was just alittle confused thx for clearing it up for me

  • my gts 450 doesnt get over 50c on full load

  • Comment removed

  • That CPU runs hot, phenom II x4 at 4.8GHz with p95 @ 67 C

  • this video was made in china

  • I hate being poor

  • @MrJensen500 You and me both, buddy.

  • @MrJensen500 find a job...

  • @MrJensen500 you dont have to be rich to watercool your pc. blocks and fittings and radiators are not breaking out so easly (solid things without any mechanical moving stuff) so you can easly buy used. pump should be new and dont have to be laing d5. it may even be dpc 2.2 el cheapo pump. but must be new. this thing is important. tubing new, dont buy any already cut tubing, may be not working with your loop setup. fans can be some bit cheaper then scythe GT. so you may end with cool cheap wc pc

  • @DjSuperSou1 also you dont have to buy full cover blocks, universal vga blocks looks cool and are WAY cheaper then full cover stuff. and as they are universal, you can upgrade your hardware without chaning (buying new) full cover blocks for new graphics.

  • wth linus you got the same Philips head screw driver as me

  • Thumb up if you noticed the "MADE IN CHINA" at the end

  • Looks just like my setup, except i also added chipset cooling and bridge cooling. Also I used 4-way SLI with GTX 580 3Gb Video Cards and my CPU is the 3960X

  • @mastafaforga :O Is all I can do.

  • 12 threads for games that use 4 at most and that's only a few games, the rest use 2 threads. gaming pc my ass

  • @bgioni maybe good for gaming, but kick ass in rendering and stuff like this

  • I like the porn music at the end.

  • Dear linus, what exacly is your job?

  • NOSE BLEED-DD!!

  • Linus, do u know if Feser Tubes good? What kinds of tubing did u use on this rig? sorry if i miss it.

  • My birthday was yesterday. I think you've forgotten something Linus...

  • He really know's what he is doing. kudos to him.

  • can someone tell me what is this little blue box ond the right in 08:28

  • @20cratos power inverter for cold cathodes.

  • @20cratos its for the cold cathodes

  • but will it blend

  • But can it run Minecraft?

  • why would you need something like this

  • I like the way it says "Made in China" at 22:35.

  • Frame rate on Minesweeper with this thing?

  • i want his screwdriver! magnetic tip and ratcheting!!!

  • i wonder if you can play solitaire on this machine :)

  • Personally I would of changed the CPU and installed the fittings off the mobo. You're just asking to muller something while trying to do it in the case.

  • The dislike bar is the size of Justin biebers penis, oh wait, its not there?

  • @oOosupernicoOo

    take that shit somewhere else.

  • MADE IN CHINA :P 22:09

  • Great guide man, thanks :D

  • whats the best coolant like for performance but won't gook up my rad or tubing?

  • 80c on cpu 4.6ghz? thats kinda high. I get no more than 65c with 5ghz

  • LOL! There's a mag inside the case!

  • I have lower temps 2 gtx590s on a rx480 rad.

  • why waste money on coolant when all you need is distilled water and pt nuke or silver coil. if you want color get colored tubing

  • On his battlelog in the background of 21:00 you see all his friend invites. he is very popular :D

  • Is it Celsius or Fahrenheit??

  • @Ginounknown when talking about computers everyone always goes by celsius

  • is compression fittings safer then barbs?

  • @antster360 yea but they are usually used for the more ascetically appealing look of them BUT the are quite a bit more expensive

  • @mohammad5055 but will they be tight enough it looks good but i dont really know cause imma build a VERY nice rig pricing for the compression fittings doesn't matter in price i would just like to know how much better they are.

  • @antster360 if money isn't a option i would go for the compression fittings

  • @mohammad5055 k thanks

  • Hey NCIX are you married my sister is not can you marry her so i can use this computer :D

  • single quad rad would be good enough and look better.

  • LOL fake CE logo on that motherboard. Genuine should be C E, not CE (bigger gap between C and E)

  • @matooo95 Cool story bro.

  • Running legal windows aye linus??;)

  • i want one. nEOOOWWW! :(

  • But will it blend?
