I had to get the sound off another website but it lined up perfectly when I played it with the vid. That being said AWESOME JOB!!! Thisw really showed the best of Harry Eden as Dodger and the gutsiness of it all, the part where Nancy's image was over the clip gave me chills. This was flippin awesome.

hahahaha we started watchin this at school in yr 5 but we neva finished it - i didnt know dodger launched himself at bill like that! go him hes just soo cool! in oliver, whoever plays dodger, he has to be my fave character - he just has soo much energy and well...i dunno but i just really love the character of dodger - hes just enormous fun!

Well, I rented it at Hollywood video. It looks like there are about 100 used copies available on Amazon . com for less than $5. Barns and Noble has it for about $15 on-line. Probably more in-store.

I love the Artful Dodger!In the musical, it showed thaat while he continued with his life of crime, he was at least happy. I always wish that there was some sort of suggestion as to what happens to him in this version.

I love the Dodger too! I never got to see the Oliver! musical in it's entirety. I have seen bits here on Youtube of the broadway musical, and it looked very good to me. In the book, the Dodger is caught and shipped away to Austrailia for his crimes. Poor dearie.

I did see the resistance to Bill Sykes, but I didn't see any suggestion at Dodger leaving the life of picking pockets. Other than that, this video was beautifully made. I have been searching for this version of the film, but nobody has it around where I live. Bravo for a delightful video.

I admit that the bit about his resistance to a new sort of life didn't shine through quite as clearly as I would've liked. Nobody ever tells him he ought to give up the life in the film, but I hoped that the lyrics might convey it. Even though he knows what he does isn't necessarily right, he refuses to back away from it as society would like him to. Thank you for your comment and your critique!
