Love it. Simple but looks great and it looks sensible and usable. On top of that, it's fast. What's not to like? All you need is doors and wipers... Looks far better than the T rex which is trying waaaay to hard.
Very nice RT...and I bet it didn't cost 50K+ anyone with enough ingenuity, welding skills and a spare pocket rocket can build one just like this fine example.
This is by far the best RT besides the T-Rex I have seen on YouTube...a very nice job...I am going to build a RT but move the engine forward so I can have a shorter wheelbase...thanks for sharing but would love to see some day light shots.
Hey i was also thinking of building one (someday), but may i ask why you would want a shorter wheelbase? I'm curious if a shorter wheelbase has any advantages.
Thanks! I hope i get to build one someday, im only 16, so right now its just a dream :]
I used type3 volkswagen spindles with A-arms made from tie rods bought from race cars supply house Day Performance. I used a rack and pinion steering made for sand rails. I used the vw spindles because of the speedometer drive.. I would use a gps speedometer next time so I could use any front spindles I wanted.
Looks Awesome!! What did you use for the front hubs, spindles, a-arms, ball joints, tie rods, rack-pinion, shocks?? I need to finish my build, FZ750... I'm trying to research what works best... so any info would be appreciated.. thanks!!
believe it or not., Most people I've talked to find it more interesting because they know there's a motorcycle hooked to the back. I am planning on adding body panels to the rear in the near future. For now, I am enjoying driving the thing all over the place and getting lots of possitive comments.
come on bro the front part came out sick but you guys couldnt do a better job in not making it look like you just welded a bike to a go cart. put trim pannels on it that shit looks like a nigger rig
no reverses. Easy to push back. No plans on this one. I am building a jig for a narrow version in the future. It took a year at a leisurely pace to build.
Do you have it able to reverse? if so how. I'm thinking of building one I had an 1996 Honda 1000f Cbr (hurricane). If you have plans are they for sale? By just laying it out how long did it take?
Very cool! It's like a little homemade T-Rex isn't it. Props to your dad, Cody! I agree though... she shoulda just hammered it... we all know the back of the WalMart parking lot has seen worse :-D
I want to transform my sunl trike to this. I have a cbr. Any pointers? It would be the first one in maui

That's awesome. It'd be even cooler if someone could ride on the bike part and have two others in the front.
