just so that all of you uninformed idiots would know, most all trucks have the same rear ends, trannies, & engines as the others. that volvo probably has the same engine as some peterbilts.
I've been driving a truck for 20 yrs & have driven peterbilts, volvos, kw's , freightliners.
@ggrtmthy1 thats becuase there is two major differentials for most trucks trannys for the most part come from spicer. volvos can have volvo engines which are great aswell as they do have cummins i dont think they have and cats...
@kiefer1234566767 I know how many differentials a truck has, I've been driving a truck for 20 years. For your information, caterpiller doesn't make truck engines anymore, they quit making truck engines in 2007
You are an idiot. Posting such a comment tells the world that you are 13 maybe 14 years old, and your' daddy drive a big Peterbilt, and that's all you know. Enough said.
@robby844 i see volvo road trains in aussie... you can argue that the weight is spread amongst more axles, but it still has to drag, and i don't see any frame bending.
what an idiot

@ggrtmthy1 differential manufacturers... cat still makes engines for there equipment i was saying i havent seen a volvo yet with cat motor
kiefer1234566767 1 year ago
@kiefer1234566767 yeah, the two major manufactures are spicer & eaton fuller.
cat only makes engines for their construction equipment. i agree, i haven't seen a volvo with a cat motor either.

peterbiltfan08 2 years ago
Fanboy much? Your name says it all.
Who cares if it's got more HP.
This is a truck.
More torque matters, not more HP.

A volvo will never be as stong as a Peterbilt....DUH
peterbiltfan08 2 years ago
Oh yeah? Let's see a stock Peterbilt beat a Volvo FH16 700.
tpaper12 2 years ago
Don't forget - an FH16 700 has 700HP right from the factory. Now, let's find a Peterbilt that beats that.
tpaper12 2 years ago
@tpaper12 try and put what a peterbilt carries on a volvo.the volvo frame will bend like candy

@tpaper12 we see bending all the time here in the states.at least the shop i work at does.either right behind the bad or right in front of the axles.
robby844 1 year ago
a peterbilt could beat any volvo
