mythic did a really good job in game performance in this patch... to anyone being in doubt, make a trial account and see for yourself ;) although you cant experience the end game sieges... better performance is all over the place!!! good signs at last...
Oh boy, look at all those effects... I've only ever experienced T4 in Fastest Framerate, and even then it drops to about 2 FPS when everyone starts bashing on a keep door. Never saw a humdrum keep take like this with all the bling, pretty cool. I hope I can switch on effects tommorow when patch goes live in EU. If only this was here from the beginning.
I loved Warhammer... but like most left due to issues. Played Aion... it was ok but I wasnt really wild about it.. after 35 it becomes a major grindfest. Once I heard this patch was coming out I've decided to resub. The community may be smaller now.. but it's far from dying. Hope to get some new WAR. :D

I was somewhere on the walls but also had very good performance. This type of seige would have been a slideshow with a 'cast spell, wait 10 seconds, spell shoots' battle plan.
I was the AM standing in front of him when he first runs up to the keep. I was running Highest settings at 2048x1150 and it was amazingly smooth. i7 with ATI 4850
nice video... but maybe I should activate fraps on my computer rig and let you see how choppy and horrible these kinds of sieges are for me. With quad-core cpu, 8 gigs of ram and a raid 0 drive array for gaming, the last thing I should be seeing is lag. A 9800gx2 card is not top of the line but its no slouch of a card... even on fastest framerate I don't see anything like this.
wtf? then you should change your resolution or contact with some support. i have quad core cpu, 3 gbs of ram and a geforce 9800, i can play with full details on this kind of raids easly
what quad core? what kind of frames are you getting? if you say you can play with 250+ on screen at full options prior to this with 20-30fps you're full of shit.
