I remember when I lived in kenya wondering how it was that matatus and the such could go up on the side walks to get around traffice and not be stopped? Also, there were very few working traffic lights in NBO and people drove like madmen! Ther police don't do their job and are corrupt for the most part. Not that the president isn't...good Luck to Kenya on this but I doubt much will change.

I agree, micromanaging is a waste of his time... why don't they have vehicle inspections and mark cars as driveable before they are allowed on the roads? liability insurance? as a foreigner, this story doesn't even make sense to me

Police also need to arrest GK vehicles that are now famous for breaking the law and overlapping on roads. To begin with, GK vehicles are not even insured! I wonder what happens if you have an accident with a GK car, and the other party is on the wrong. Who pays?
