Like many people, I am grateful that you have posted many of these events. As you know, your broadcasts inspired me to go to the Blue Swords competition and other sporting events which I orginally saw on TV.
In 1974, they finished 9th at Europeans and 11th at Worlds. Apparently, they grew apart in size and he would later pair with Birgit Lorenz winning the 1983 and 1984 European bronze medals and a 5th place finish at the 1984 Winter Olympics.
