when i spike mine (short hair) i tend to spike the top in a way that it looks kinda messy, such that the hair don't point all in one direction, and since most asians' hair grows outward instead stick to the scalp, u wanna push the hair on the side down, unless u have very soft and wavy/curly hair which is rare for asian.
