LESSON HERE....... DONT EAT A CAN OF BEANS RIGHT BEFORE YOU RECORD A DEMO.... THESE AMPS SOUND GREAT BUT CAN HAVE ISSUES WITH TRANSFORMERS, FUSES, WIRING ETC. I'M STILL GOING TO PICK UP A USED ONE THOUGH AND TAKE MY CHANCES LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE. BECAUSE THE TONE THIS PARTICULAR AMP PUTS OUT SOUNDS AWESOME. THE SOUND OF ROCK.... CLEANS SOUND GOOD TOO SURPRISINGLY.

That's a Framus Cobra cab and has Celestion Greenbacks at 25 watts each so it's a 100 watt cab. I wouldn't recommend using a 100 watt head with a 100 watt cab as you could blow the speakers if turned up. I would use a cab where the watts are greater than the head.

Also, this cab is wired at 8 ohm so it will sound different than a Marshall 16 ohm cab...I prefer 8 ohm cabs

i play that amp whit a JCM 800 Box. I used an ESP KH-602 whit EMG 81s no problems whit Metal Sound. now im Playing whit a Gibson Les Paul and it sounds Excellent. Well this am can everything Clean Chrunch Overdrive Hi Gain.

I don't have it yet. This is a good amp for hard rock not for metal. A good amp for metal The Bugera 333XL it is an all tube amp which features the XL switch to bump up the low level playing and it has a built in noise gate.

Usually there is no speaker in the head. You need a cab to get any sound out of it. The 100 watt is the amplifier's output to the speaker cabinet.

No, a 'combo' amplifier is a small box with amplifier and one or two or more speakers in it. Sounds like you saw someone playing a 'combo amp'. A amp head, is just the amplifier, then from the back of it a cable runs to special guitar speaker cabs. How about that, magic! The disappearing speaker, not funny.
