@defisnet Alright then. Firstly this was way back when Minecraft was still being discovered by gamers, so he was completely new to the game. Secondly, he was discovering nearly everything for himself, apart from a few things his viewers told him back when the video was posted which by the way, was over a year and a half ago.

He was the one that got most people into the game. He played it for fun like how it's MEANT to be played and didn't try hard to build stuff. Once you get diamonds and full diamond armor you can kill mobs easily and that's not fun. He wanted a challenge, so he stopped playing. He wrote a blog about it or something.

The reason minecraft was most successful during Alpha was that it was still fresh and new for everyone that tried it. After being exhausted from alpha, many people including X and myself have ran out of things to do with some updates bringing us back for a few hours.
