In modern times growers are using many techniques, such as genetic engineering, etc, to create the best possible strains they can. This results in a much more potent bud. Im not saying its a bad thing, its definitely not more harmful because of that, THC is not toxic to the human body at all, but modern marijuana is more potent than it used to be.

With the genetic engineering that is used today, some strains do get that potent like you said, which in my opinion is not good. PharMafia's meds KILL & maim 1000's of innocent people & even their vaccinations are WAY more dangerous than weed ~ a natural susbstance which doesn't require toxic addatives to enhance or alter its state for human consumption.

Pot should be legal & as with any herbs, fruits or vegetables, each should be entitled to grow his own for his own use and/or co-operative exchange.
Governments ban it because it's a threat to their own money making schemes (esp. taxes on alcohol, meds & tobacco) as well as the Illuminati's & their cohorts' involvement in illegal drug (e.g. cocaine) smuggling for a whack load of money!
Alcohol is far more dangerous & addictive as well as been the cause of much violence, crime & road accidents.

The amount of THC in the Marijuana plants, when compared to those in the 60's and 70's, are exactly the same.
The amount of THC in some plants in the 60's were in the high 30's-40's, but most were far lower.
The reason was not because of "different, stronger Marijuana", it is because growers actually take care of the plants and grow it in places that harbor the best growing conditions making the Marijuana more potent.
Dealers need the best Marijuana or the customers won't buy.
