if you notice the truck was actually driven backwards over the jump. so that clip was actually played in reverse. notice how the sand is sucked to the tires before it touches down.

@jand2442 It's just a stock 27t Axial motor. Brushed motors usually aren't affected by water, unless it's really dirty.

@Benbanginn The winch is just an old servo that I converted. I didn't do anything to waterproof it.

Also, To save most of the body you can mount the shock down to the frame, wich moves the axal down from the frame. giving your more space to fit the tires. A little triming will still be needed

@NitroSport33 Not stock, but very close. I have stretched the wheelbase about an inch, and added the chassis mounted steering.

@oblittrooper It's a stock Axial 27t motor, with a 17t pinion and an 87t spur gear, on 3S. Good combo for decent torque and wheel speed.

did you cut the fender wells on that? And if you did can you tell me how much you cut of?

@Buchta179 I did cut the fenders back to clear the 2.2 wheels and tires. You'll need to cut almost the whole front fenders off to clear without issue.
