If we are to turn the page, then we must turn it, and begin again on a BLANK page. No one alive today is responsible for the deeds of people alive two hundred years ago. Black people have fought tooth and nail to 'sit at the table', especially in the past fifty years, or so. They have arrived, in spite of terrible odds. No one can change the past, but we, together as equal Americans, can build a better future for all. We should begin again, as equals, to seek a better country for ALL Americans.

Obama was supposed to be the race-neutral presidential candidate who would unite people of all races, but it turns out he is nothing more than a black man peddling-out the same old "blame whitey" excuses rather than focusing on personal responsibility and the hardships blacks inflict on themselves, such as a 70% illegitimacy rate. It is a scientific "fact", not to mention common sense, that people from broken families are more likely to live in poverty, turn to crime and repeat the cycle.

Obama's speech was an honest account of America. We have come a long way as far as race is concerned but we still are a long, long way from perfect. Anything else would have been politically correct bullshit.

This speech is controversial and should change the views of Americans. I think this is a great speech.

So here we go again. Rather than take on the IPORTANT ISSUES OF THE DAY, we will fight the same old fight on race. Rather than move forward we will run in place or go backward. Notice, how Sean Hannity got so upset about this pastor. Why did he not get upset when Pastor Hagee endorsed John McCain? Hagee is imfamously anti-catholic, but no outcry? WHY!!!! His Pastor made the remarks and should have to explain himself, not Obama.

Wow, this speech is worse than I thought. He goes on and on defending bitter blacks who commit the same sins that they claim they're the victims of. This is not the kind of speech a black candidate for President wants to be giving. I think this is going to hurt him.
