  • Wow! You guys are incredible. I have always wanted to chase storms, but i don't think I could be that close. I guess wouldn't be very good at chasing. Good job!

  • I used to go to school there.

  • this is 4 miles from my home...

  • MV's are nasty.....that's what the big ones are made from. The may 3rd tornado in moore, ok was a MV. That is where the "hop-scotching" comes from.

Also....David Payne isn't known for his caution when tracking storms. He was almost wiped out by the F5 (was an F6 for a day or so until they re-rated it)that hit Moore in 99.

I think they rated this an f3-f4

  • Yeah....easy David. They might think you're more interested in your paycheck than reporting the facts, ......"GET ME BACK ON THE AIR!"

Still.. the footage is awesome. God protect us all.

  • David wasn't interested in his paycheck, he was interested in letting us (the viewing public) know what was going on. He is the most warm hearted person you'll ever met. He doesn't do his job for fame or money, he does it to help people and save lives.

  • Powerful video. these multiple vortices looked so weak but was able to make horrible damages.

  • That was crazy. Multiple vortex tornadoes freak me out.

  • Audio didn't sync well

  • I was almost positive this went down on the 4th...

  • @nolansion No it was the fifth
