hi smack how far over the top of the plate,s should the d/water be if from top lid to the plate,s is 2" and what volts should their be after you add sodium hydroxide when cold how much hho do i need to make per minute to run a 1400cc diesal thank,s mike uk

Volts should always be 12 - 13.8. Level is just below the bottom of the threads, give or take.  You cannot run a diesel on hydroxy alone as there is no ignition system.

That's a great idea, yeah my top likes to leak every now and again, have to use plumbers tape, but so much easier to just not remove lid, great idea smack....
