I was the sax soloist when we performed this with my school, though we sounded awful lol. I'm glad that the full version of the solo is worked in here, I didn't have it in my music, I just knew the piece by heart so i pulled it XD

I played the trumpet. I stopped after high school though because it didn't fit into my schedule very well at college. I play every now and then when I'm home on break though. :)

we have a wind ensamble to if your a trumpet you have to be able to hit a double G thats a G above high G its so hard to get in if you get in you are bound to get a music scholar ship to collage ime hoping to get in in a year and we also have the best theater in the state

That's our wind ensemble. It's a very small and selective group of students.

Our entire band as a whole has about 150 members in it.

The fact that the ceiling of the auditorium is carpeted probably doesn't help. (We hate the architects who did that. Idiots!)

Who said anything about bad acoustics? Carpeting contributes to the fact that the sax solo isn't as loud as it -could be-. As you may well know, carpeting absorbs sound.

Man this took me back. We did this my junior year for our Jazz band and for our end of the year concert. I can't say as a whole we were better, but our solos were better. But solos far from make the band. I loved this though. It was great to hear it!

this is my high school playing altho i graduated in 2004 n this is from 2007...but i actually was there that nite n saw them playing this...i used to go see these alot cuz i was in choir...my brother is in chior now n i go to watch his concerts & the band concert as well, thats how i got to see this 1...very nicely done!!! go WP, make me proud lol!!!! Show them wat we got lol!!!!

I remember playing that arrangement last year. If I remember correctly, I thought it would be easy, but it ended up being a lot tougher than any of us expected.

1. This is a HIGH SCHOOL BAND. We are not a professional band. Therefor, we are not perfect.

2. This was recorded with a shitty Kodak camera. Yes, the sound quality is going to be a bit bad, and not all parts are going to sound balanced. It happens. It's life.
