I remember this from back when I still played it on console. Doing this on PC works as well but it easily crashes the game when messing around with it. Actually rediscovered it by accident and ended up here trying to figure out what causes it to happen. I never really bothered with it cuz it's too much like cheating to me and really makes the PC version flip out when it happens. Exiting the workbench menu after this happens usually causes CTD.

everytime i do this trick.i equip kreia with a saber but then it removes the saber from my main character but he moves like he is still holding it.

@WillandApril1 everything the lightsaber has, is duplicated. even your character's crystal, in this case Darth Vader's crystal :)

Funny, I've done this accidentally before and didn't realize how I did it. I went to try it last night in a game where I had just go my first lightsaber and realized when I went to the WB that I had already duplicated it. lol

Hey, i'm new to kotor on the PC

(i used to play it on the xbox)

I recently discovered some strange crystals on Korriban, such as type 1 jedi focusing crystal, bloodstone, sith synthesised crystal etc. (there's loads)

I figure i can use the bloodstones to change the colour of my blood of malevolance, but when i try to put it (or any other of these weird crystals) into a normal lightsaber the whole saber turns into a little blue ball. Could anyone tell me what these crystals do?? Pleeeease

i did it and now my lightsaber is so fucking jacked up! its crazy i had the ultimate diatium energy cell,expert fencing emiter, pontite lens and for my crystals had silver, quixoni, and i got EXTREMLEY lucky in this story mode because i killed master kavarr and got the ANCERRES SAPHIRE! i did this glitch and now my lightsaber is 104-189

its a quionixi crystal you get it from a women on onderon in the cantina she wants a open starport visa you can find it on a bounty hunter that try to kill u then take it to a twilek guy in the cantina on onderon he will hack it and make it open for 500 creds and your welcome

first get the data pad

After you insert the datapad into the terminal and take the test, and PASS, a room will open up with poison coming out of the floor, go through it and turn right , retrieve the lightsaber part, then go meet darth sion or "sleeps with vibro blades"...kreia will tell you to run away, then you will be outside, and then you go back to your ship.... and go somewheres else
