@AyoiNizam the episode you're probably talking about is magic file 2. and yes, it does differ with each school. i'm not positive about the uniforms either since i also don't live in japan but the kinds i've seen (in animes, that is) the most are sailor fukus, gakurans, and blazers

how come you guys complain about Shinichi not being Conan, i think for live action it's better if he wont be a kid. It doesn't really suit a kid to be expose in murder. Plus, if he stays as shinichi it'll be more cooler and realistic. And Junpei looks like shinichi. It's so cute! he's so handsome. <3

@sonicshuffler kinda but not really. it takes place 3 months before DC but even with that, Hattori and Shinichi have met prior to Conan... on the ski slopes (episode 490) when they were around 14 (granted, it was pretty brief). it's possible that they'd met again between that time frame and simply forgot about it.

the thing that really screws up the timeline is Sato and Takagi. they're the ones Shinichi had never met prior to becoming Conan...

@sonicshuffler i thinks most live action differ from their manga/anime. Like High School Debut the story is somewhat different from what's in manga. Also kaikan phrase and a lot more. They change it to be more realistic cuz if they stick to what's written in manga it'll be difficult for them and will bore the fans so they need to come up with a twist to catch the fans attention. Like putting up more episodes with Shinichi and using actor that's handsome like Junpei.

My only complaint about this episode: it ends.

At last, Heiji's long awaited appearance! Though brief, exceptionally memorable; my compliments to those who cast both him and Kazuha, as they chose their actors quite well.

Great case as well, and the theme of bonds was most appropriate. Also: loved the Shinichi-Heiji synchronized lines and moves. (Yay for the SAX cap!) The fan-wielding Masayoshi Moria was quite fun, too.

All in all, a spectacular live action series! I hope it gets continued.

This is the second time I am watching this episode. Last time I watched I didnt know who played Hattori Heiji. But then I searched him up "Matsuzaka Tori" and da**!! He's SUPER cute, handsome, cool!! Just watched "Asuko March" played by him as a co-star too (+other cute guys) and its awesome!! I'm coming back to see him and Junpei as Heiji and Shinichi here hahaha

even though i like the drama i still find it funny that they're setting it in modern day when the series is starting in like the early/mid 90's. they went from using those large cordless phones and barely any computers to cellphones, laptops and more advanced technology and Conan is still a little kid in first grade

I actually really like Heiji and Kazuha here. I personally am impressed with Heiji's skin color and the costuming for both of them. I also really their acting, and I don't know much Japanese, so I might be speaking out of turn, but the Osakan accents sound pretty darn good to me.
