The scene at which I felt happiest was when Precious runs away with that basket of chicken and yells out a happy cry. It made me smile. :-)

I hate this movie. Its the usual Hollywood attempt to make black people appear to be less than human beings,as if we rape our daughters and beat our wives and are riddled with disease. I hate the Jewish portrayal of the black man in Hollywood. It is a repeated one whereby we are made to appear like buffoons and indisciplined men who do not father their children. My father was always there and so was my mother and they are still married for over 30yrs. Where is that story in Hollywood?

i loved the movie and this film made me think alot and not many movies do that for me but it deffo made me both greatful and thankful for amazing parents and family
this movie also taught me not to judge people but to try and understand their circumstances and love them regardless. just like tyler perry said .. this movie is so powerful and that is what this movie was .. so powerful and heartbreaking. well done to both monique and gabby and thank you lee daniels for this amazing film :)
