  • I love David Cohen, his Simpsons episodes are so smart, so socially recessive and hilarious.

  • I'm so annoyed that this will take SO LONG to get to the UK for no good reason, just like any American TV Show.

  • Bender and Amy?

    Poor Kif....

  • David X. Cohen is not the creator of Futurama. He's the co-developer. Matt Groening is the creator.

  • @jasobres Yeah, that was a typo on the title bar, but YouTube does not allow for do-overs, so here it is.

  • i'm glad that I (nick) was the cameraman for this. even I was nervous haha

  • This is awesome! I cannot wait for the new episodes. They sound great! Thanks for sharing this with us!

  • I actually went to the convention just for David X. I approached him about 20 times that day... and watched them filming this segment.

He's a really badass . person in real life Just as funny, too.

  • You were there when we were filming that? That's fun! Did you enjoy the convention? I know we did. Spending time with David, Phil, Maurice, Rob, John was so much fun!

  • I had a great time actually. I actually felt bad because I thought I was bugging David too much.

Took a picture, got his autograph, asked him some Futurama questions, pestered him for an internship.

Aside from that, lots of hot girls, got myself a ton of $1 comic books, so yeah, I'd definitely like to go again next year.

You seemed a little nervous talking to David X., are you a big Futurama fan?

  • Yeah, I am a major Futurama fan, but my problem was that I am not an interviewer. I am actually the PLuGHiTz Live! producer, and I don't do a lot of on-camera work, and I was completely unprepared for the interview. I could't find my guy when David was available, so the show must go on, and I performed the interview myself. Less nervous, more unprepared I would say. It was still a good interview under the circumstances.

  • Good job, man! People always seem to think it's easy to do and interview on camera and it's really not. Your questions were very insightful and you both had a really good energy flowing. Plus, the hand-shaking dilema was very amusing. Great work.

  • Thanks. I try as hard as possible to not get in front of the camera, but when I need to, there I am. I did some on camera work for FOX a while back, but much prefer behind the scenes. Also, I ended up on camera in Orlando (MegaCon) and in June for SuperCon.

  • lol, an Eye-phone!

  • Yeah, we enjoyed that, too. We were talking about it with a friend at dinner tonight who wasn't at the con, but has an iPhone.

  • Haha, I really can't wait for that episode. I can just picture Fry's reaction to the Futuristic iPhone(Eye-Phone) and Twitter... ooh, now that just scares me... Futuristic Twitter *shudders*

  • Wait until we post the interview with Phil. His reveal is really crazy.

  • Futurama got even MORE crazy?!? HOLY CRAP I gotta see that!

  • Yeah, Phil LaMarr told us about a new animal. Keep watching for the new videos.

  • A new animal? COOL! I can just picture so freaky si-fi thing
