@musicfamily The way I learned to play those arpeggios, was to play them slow (starting at around 50bpm), and speed them up by maybe 1-2bpm a week. The thing about sweeps is that it takes lot of time, but one day you wake up and are able to play them and wonder why it has taken so long. After a while you can play everything with sweeps as its a right-hand technique. I guess its around 4k hours put into my sweeping technique. It would've been half that, if I did it the right way from the beginnin
@TheMrgamedude It's great that you try to learn it even before I'm finished with it :) ! but If you wait until I'm done with It I can send you an mp3 of it that you can do whatever you want with :D
@ashlequinn Thanks a lot! You said something that is more important than technique is in my view, you said; "YOU play beautifully" which I take as a great compliment since it's about "feeling". All of you that don't have injuries have the ability to learn to play like me and I'll help you on your way! I have already promised another dude here on youtube to make a tutorial on sweep-picking, so watch out for it :)
@912heman "Created Below" we dont have much recorded since we are more of a live act, but you can like us on facebook and we also have a song there in the music-player. Thanks Again dude!
Good, I like it. I like the arpeggios. I think your distor is ok. Just a little synchro with the rythm part (at the very beginning). Good stuff. Thumbsup.
Keep up the good work!
@fredrikeklundh Tack freddan :) jo det skulle jag väl kunna prova. Jag har svårt för att bestämma mig vad gäller det där med dist, det är ju skitsvårt! för antingen är det alldeles för mkt eller på tok för lite dist ;). Thanks again, and I will!
I like it, your sweeping is very clean. A friendly tip if i may add, in your solo, when u play the melody ( not the arpeggios part) try placing your switch in the middle for both pickups, u still get the mellow sound for high frets, but adds a bit more crunchiness to the tone to cover up uneven vibration of your D string. Also on the first part of the melody since its slow, you could add some faint delay so your B (24th fret at the end) hold sounds bit better :)
Sweet:)

ackling 11 months ago
@ackling Do you think i need more distortion?
ErikEspangberg 11 months ago
@ackling Don't need a bunch of distortion to cover up his sound. The tone is just fine the way it is. :)

@guitarmaster123445 I didn't say anything about the tone. I was talking about the distortion. Gain. Overdrive.
