if you already have a small block chevy in no, if you have a 307 or a 350 oldsmobile engine yes.

@WHlTEMAN yes you can install a chevy 350 without changing anything. you have to use chevy motor mounts.

thats not an 81 ,...... it has a different 1/4 roof and the tail lights are different, that looks like an 86

the serial number is probably swapped and hold with metal screws!

obvi im guna make it look newer than it is, i changed the front end, tail lights ect when we painted it. its a 81

well its a sweet car anyway man i had an 81 also,.... it was biege with a purple vinel 1/4 roof, with the 3.8 in it when i got it lol,... i stripped it down painted it a blueish silver blacked out the windows and put a 305ho, from a monte ss in it,...i miss that car like crazy,..... sold it when i was younger and stupid lol... wish i had it back

I think it sounds like a 455 with stock compression and cheapish turbo mufflers.I have a 260 in my 78 Cutlass,I can powerbrakr posi but its alot of strain so if this cutlass would get on it a lil I could tell. Another thing is it sounded cold

Well,I am not trying to call you a liar,it just sounds really bad and like it is whipped 307 or smaller,sorry.I have a 82 with a 69' 445 olds and you can just tell it has cubes,this is not so convincing,that is all.
