They made a huge mistake, and those foreign Islamists transformed many nominal Bosniak Muslims into Quran devouring true Muslims(And probably still doing so). As for Kosovo, there might have been some foreign Islamists(Possibly fallouts from the Bosnian war) who fought in Kosovo, but as far as my sources go(Please don't ask me to consult SerbiannaDOTcom as a source, thanks), if there indeed were Mujahedin fighters there, they fought independently, and not under the command of the KLA.
