reminds me of when i flew from Montreal Canada to Paris France on the A340, we took off right on a sunset, it was soo beautiful and when we were over sea level it was already night and there was a full moon with a billion stars. since there was no clouds under, the moon light reflected on the Ocean which also sparkled like stars. I which I had a camera,
my grand parents the 4 came from ireland mayo, antrim ,donegal ,only my granda from donegal went back the rest never seen ireland again .i was there two years ago and to hear irish people moan about the polish workers take jobs made me sick they are only doin what irish people had to do leave hom throu poverty
{mar mar } irish people have been all over. geting the same shit. and what do you mean i would feel the same way .i have polish freinds they are the same as me working class lads trying to get by . and i have stayed in dublin 2 years .you might have to leave home because of this downturn in work .i think you have a short memory or your to young to remember
This is perhaps the best video I've ever seen on youtube. The colours in this film are nothing short of beautiful, blues, purples, violets, reds, oranges and yellows... the view from an aircraft is always amazing, but this one is spectacular.
In the modern world it's hard to get an idea of what emigration was like back then. People who emigrate from one country to another today can jump on a jet now and then, to travel back to visit their old country in the space of a few hours.
But in those days, poor people who emigrated across oceans on sailing ships would usually never be back.
Irelan is paradise it was a long time ago ...the only thing money and greed connsumerisim couldnt effect was irish music other than that we've become a bunsh selfish inconciderate assholes... eire 08 god help us.
that's pretty beautiful,
