I'm not a massive fan of him.

I'm an Owl/pragmatist on the EU, however it's clear that the Euro fixed exchange rate regime has stolen Monetary Sovereignty from European National Governments making them users of a foreign currency in the Euro.

The ECB is a half cocked Central Bank as it's not providing the Euro money to fund EU non-government net saving/de-leveraging as per Modern Monetary Theory.
