@vengencefrom1979 Wingtip vortexes are strongest when the aircraft is flying slowly, at a high angle of attack (nose high) and with the wing flaps deployed. The aircraft hitting the WTC were in a dive, at high speed and with the flaps stowed. They are still created of course, but they are very weak and unlikely to create a visual vortex in smoke as shown in clips on the subject.
Just because wingtip vortices are created behind and NOT ahead of the plane´s flight path...
Therefore they would had been visible right in the smoking facade after impact.

Wingtip vorticies are only created when the wings are creating lift. If the airplanes were in a dive, or otherwise not creating lift, there would be no vorticies.
Alternatively, the buoyancy of the heat generated by the impact may have countered the downwash/vorticies. I don't have enough information to know.
