  • IVC was a dravidian civilization. Present day pakistanis are aryans mixed with semitic and turkic invaders. Therefore people who built the IVC are not the ancestors of present day pakistanis except may be the Brahui people, who can claim partial ancestry since they are the last remaining dravidian people of the region who of course now are mixed with other ethnicities.

  • Pakistan was part of India, Sherlocks! "Indus" sounds like "India" to me. It was only due to the Muslim majority that Pakistan was partitioned and separated from the rest of the country. I do CHALLENGE anyone to read literary works by Stephen Knapp and Kanayalal Talreja. When reading their books, you discover how pro-western bias against India like this video never credits Indians for their contributions to civilization, religion, spirituality, science, medicine, technology, math, etc.

  • @TheLavish99 "India" is the ancient name of the Indus states (Pakistan). There was no partition in 1947, this phrase "partition" is out dated and useless. India didnt exist up untill 1947.

  • @1987naren

The real laugh is that you have no idea what the Indus Valley language is, but still mindlessly claim its a Dravidian language. How about deciphering the language before making such silly claims?

  • Tell me does pakistan people have a same ancient descendant from indian people?

  • @MACKBOOK123456

How can we possible know?? If you want to find out, Indus valley is the wrong place to look because it existed relatively recently, i.e 5000 years ago. South Asia was inhabited by Humans 50 000 years ago. Are you seriously implying that IV as recently as 5000 years ago could have been the ancestors of everyone in South Asia? Most likely Indus Valley descendent are the same people living there today, i.e Pakistanis.

95% Pakistanis are native to the Indys Valley. Not Indians.

  • To say the IVC belongs to the whole of south asia, is like saying "the persian empire, belongs to the whole of middle east".

it's like saying "ancient egypt belongs to the whole of north africa".

It's like saying "the whole of europe can take credit for Greek civilization and history".

  • We have to do research for school about indus river,

    thanx dude;)

  • Pakistan had lots of invasions, i'd be very surprised if large numbers of those same people who built this civilisation exist today. Pakistanis like the north Indians are heavily mixed with all sorts of invaders

I'd say the invasion of islam is a significant topic, since they were too weak to fight off the Islamic armies they lost their real Pakistani culture, heritage and race. Shame, would have been interesting to see what they could have become.

  • @omerlives YEs u are right, but the people of the indus valley civlization were not mixed. They did not have any persian or turkish blood in them like the mordern day pakistanis. Hence they have nothing in common except they both lived on the same land thats all, but culturally and genetically they are totally different..

  • the spirits of the Dravidians flow like water ............may the creator bring the "meek" peace........

  • @olebaj hey I have met many indians in Europe...when they talk with me they pee in their pants and when they came on internet then they became tigers...you are loosers ...if you live anywhere else other than India just go to Pakistani community and say the same stuff and rest assured they will handle you...I have met the Indians who introduce me to others as the person of subcontinent that is your inferiority complex that you need us to prove your existence.

  • @MrDesiPak Agreed, I found the same thing. When they are on youtube, they roar like lions. In Person they suck up to Pakistanis, and try to show How much in common they have with you.

  • Search for the video on youtube. "Pre-harappan ancient city found part 1"

Watch the whole part its very intersting.

  • im not trying to argue or anything but why india the are that they show covers only 20% of modern india and 75% of pakistan, so it should be ancient pakistan.

  • Well Pakistanis is the most diverse race...All type of people can be found here ....from blond to brown and blacks ..so we cannot generalize the Pakistanis into one group.

  • Am an Englishman, did my historical & religious studies at cambridge. It's said Harrapan, Vedic, Indus n Buddhist civilizations exsisted in present day Pakistan & Afghanistan.

For proof, you could well find a video on Utube about the bombings of Bamiyan statues in Afghanistan around the year 2001.

    Cheers!

  • @sharathvasudev

Swastika is not a trade mark. Its a symbol and the odds that more than one group might have used it in the past 5000 years are high.

World Historians have not accepted anything. Your logic is plain retarded. Paks are descendants of the civilisation. Islam is not relevant in this context. I dont even understand what you are trying to say about 7th century Islam and how you feel its relevant. Pakistanis have lived in the Indus valley long before Islam came.

  • The Punjabi people are a mix of Indo Aryan and Indo Scythians, which gives them the general appearance of Middle Easterners.

Although they are swapped into three religions (Hinduism, Sikhism, and Islam). The people of Punjab are well in the same.

  • well aryan people are fair not dark and skinny legged like most of you indians

  • Ancient Northern India (Pakistan & Sikh Punjab) was an area that saw many invasions by countless armies, from Persians, Greeks, Mongols, Turks, Afghans Arabs & Sikhs. All of these invading armies influenced the local inhabitants. Today you can see Pakistanis along with Sikhs have more Persian features then the rest of Indian population. People from this region have no connection with the southern & Eastern parts of todays India. Tiger is just frustrated because his ancestors reverted to Islam

  • u r hijraastani?

  • very funny to see indians calling other people niggers, you only insult your own people by saying that and indians calling themselves "Aryan" ha ha

  • Ask the rest of the wold. You just described your own fellow Indians. Modern Indians have nothing to do with the Indus region. Most couldnt even point it out on a map.

  • im sick of you pakis saying that the indus valleycivilsation, we all have th blood and toil of harrapa in us, the civilaisation strected far over the indo pak border all the way down into southern gujarat, we are ALL descended from it. stop creating lies to justify your countries existance

  • @gujjucheap Pakistanis have the blood of Harrapa in us. Pakistanis are descended from IVC, not indians. IVC didnt spread out into india. It spread into parts of North West india, and thats it.

The people of Pakistan are true claimers of IVC.

Stop trying to claim our history as your own, you monkey indians.

  • if you look at the map of the civlisation in your own video you will that the ivc spread into india aswell, into gujarat, rajhastan and indian punjab. my village is near lothal- an indus valley site, i am indian and decended from the ivc a s much as you are -you fools

  • @gujjucheap The indus valley civilization didnt spread out into most parts of modern-day india. The people of Pakistan have every right to claim Indus Valley Civilization as our own. We dont have to share it with you indians, just because you people have nothing to be proud of.

  • we have alot to be proud of, what do you mean you dont have to share it, if many indus valley sites are in india then you obviously do. we are the same people, in this region there were traditionaly 3 cultures, the persians, khorasanis(afghans) and the indians, i cant find any historical pakistan before 1947. yes india was never one country but there was always a land of india with many natioans and traditions within it. mahmud ghazni and mohammed bin qasim were not forenrunners to pakistan

  • @gujjucheap No we are not the same. "india", "indika", ect. was a word used to describe geographic location of south asia by invaders. same as ow "middle east" is used to describe geographic location of west asian countries. even today pakistanis share ethnicity with north west indians only(kashmris and punjabis). if you come to pakistan and say to a punjabi "punjabis and gujaratis are the same", you will get laughed at, and many punjabis consider this as an insult.

  • @gujjucheap Just because you decided to name your newly-formed country in 1947 as "india" doesnt give you the right to claim all south asia's history as your own. the modern-day "india" is a creation of the british.

  • And you are the expert on Islam?

Stop spewing out bs. Indians are only secure when they have Pakistani identity to live up to.

  • done bro. but the old song was more fitting. :(

  • I agree. But perhaps you should pick the same audio track that Omer & I selected.Just visit the video on my page and check the title of the song it coems up and then just select it.

  • the domegraphics of india and Pakistan are very different. even DNA and linguistics show indians have more in common with australian aboriginies than they do with Pakistanis especially the south. whats it with Pakistanis always wanting to mignle their identity with everyone eleses either iranians or indians or arabs. why cant the people of the indus be proud of who they are??

  • pokis are actually the people raped by invaders of muslim invaders of india.

  • Yes!! It is indeed..Have you ever heard about the Changez khan's legacy? learn it..and you will know why you are diferent than Indians..LoL

  • I agree. Indus and Ganges centered civilizations represent the two distinct civilizations and cultures of the subcontinent.

  • most Pakistanis identify themselves or try to find roots in the Middle-East rather than their own Land...because most of them rather not have any connections to Hindus ( which would explain why there no longer hardly any Ancient Temples left standing)even though History would suggest otherwise......but totally agree as The River Indus flows through Pakistan it at least should have had the first choice of the name...whilst what is now India should have been called Bharat

  • mak you are 100% right they dont want to be associated with these people call "hindus" (even though there is no such thing technicly it was a British term) and you are right the Pakistanis especially the Islamic ones have an inferiority complex towards Arabs, Iranians which i find horrible. We should be proud of who we are.

  • I am Pakistani and proud of being Pakistani, I am descended from Indus river civilization people. Pakistani people are Aryan people who are related to Iranian, Afghanis, and Turks, yet at the same time we are distinct because of Indus river valley civilization being one of the first human settlements in Asia. Islam teaches us to be proud of our identity, Pakistani scholars are the forefront of Islamic thought. We are Pakistani and Muslim, and proud of being both.

  • @Ammari7 you are wrong to say Pakistanis are related to turks afghanis or iranians.

Except for Pashtuns and Balochis (and maybe even nuristanis) Pakistan & Afghanistan are different iranians, the baloch & persians have some shared genes with Pakistan, but overall they are closer to arabs geneticly

  • I mean to say the ancient Aryans are related to Iranians and Turks. Even among Pakistanis, there are ethnic differences. Pakistan's main cultural heritage is Islamic and Aryan (indus).

  • it depends on what you define as "Aryan"

today Indo-Aryan is a linguistic term used to describe people who speak an Indo-Aryan language like Punjabi and Sindhi. And no the ancient Sanskrit-speaking Aryans were certainly not related to the ancient turks, who were entirely mongoloid that time and close relatvies of Mongols. Pakistan is diverse yes, but at the end of the day 99% of the population speaks an Indo-Iranic language (which Indo-Aryan is part of) and belong to a common haplogroup (R1A)

  • The ancient Aryans came from north of the river Oxus and the region around the Caucasus mountains, which is also the birthplace of the Turks. Although, Turks (Oghuz) share an ethnic similarity with Mongols/ Chagatai Turks (which roughly 10% of Pakistanis do as well), the Oghuz (Western) Turks are ethnically related to the Aryans (including Persians and most Pakistanis). Not all Turks are the same, they are a mixture of several nations from Central Asia, of which region the Aryans came also.

  • turks are a linguistic gorup yes and some Anatolian turks have R genes like Pakistanis. iranians, they have more Arab genes than they do with pakistanis. Check the haplogroup maps on Iran

  • turks, persian, afghan, arabs and Pakistanis are aryan race

Dirty Dark with skinny legged Bhindians are not aryans

  • @meq08ha turks arabs and afghans are not aryan.

Aryan is form Sanskrit speaking people. So we Pakistanis are Aryan. Turks are Anatolian and Arabs are semitic.

  • aryan is a sub race of Caucasian race

source : Mish, Frederic C., Editor in Chief Webster's Tenth New Collegiate Dictionary Springfield, Massachuetts, U.S.A.:1994--Merriam-Webster See original definition (definition #1) of "Aryan" in English--Page 66

Caucasian race are the ppl belonging to greater middle east, eastern europe, central asia etc.

they are generally stereaotyped as light skinned ppl. I personally know a lot of Indians here in UK, but none of them could be classified as fair.

  • that's an old classification. hitler took the word from sanskrit arya meaning noble. indians did not speak sanskrit they spoke dravidian languages so theyre not really aryan.

there are fair and non-fair aryans. The turks did not speak sanskrit but an anatolian language till the turko-mongols form mongolia came and brought their own altaic language into anatolia turkey

but yeah indians are nothing evne close to fair that's for sure

  • @meq08ha....hey we are not aryans ...we are a distinct race and we dont have any caucassian blood...we are living here for thousands of years and we are not like other races...only some people have aryan or other blood otherwise most are same as North Indians ...why you cannot be proud of your own race that even root out the Greeks,Alexender and Chengiz Khan from this region..

  • Comment removed

  • @meq08ha...hey dont make fun of anyone as all are humans.....you did not create the dark persons but God does so no need to be in arrogance....

  • i have read all the comments on this video. people are fighting over who does the indus valley belongg to: Pakistan or India. Even though i'm an indian i would have to say that Indus valley civilisation belongs to Pakistan only. The confusion arises from the name of the two countries. Indians think that since there was no country named Pakistan before 1947 , ALL of the history of the subcontinent belongs to India. So this video would come as a shock to most of the Indians.

  • What i am gonna say next would come as a shock to u but you'll see my logic:- The people of Pakistan should have fought to keep the name India. Cos Indus river is in Pakistan so its Pakistan which should be called India and not the neighbouring country. All these confusion about identity would not have arisen if that was the case. India/hindus derive their identity from the Indus river but surprisingly the river is in their arch enemy's country !!!!.

  • 3:- BY giving up the name of India , Pakistanis have almost willingly squandered their 5000 yr old history. The name India was given by the Greeks.Greeks had this habit to adding 'ia' behind a region's name hence the names mesopotamia, persia, india, bactria etc. India simply means The land surrounding Indus(Modern Pakistan). It is Pakistan which is the rightful owner of 'India' while the country of India should have been called Bharat or something!!

  • 4:-Similarly the name Hindu was given by arabs/iranians to the people living to the east of the river Sindhu. They called"s" as "H" hence the name Hindu.Hindu was a geo-political term describing ppl living in a particular area and not religious ppl just like greek, arab, mongal, turk, chinese etc. Hindu didn't have anything religious related to it at all.But it was the brahmins who stole this hindu identity to make it a religious one.Kindly note that the word Hindu doesnt appear in no religious texts

  • It was the muslims who gave India the name of Hindustan. Hindustani and Hindu simply meant a person from Hind. These terms had nothing to do with religion. You could be a muslim from the Hindu nationality. Brahmins have stolen this 'Hindu' identity to unite the bharatiyas against the muslims. In RSS/VHP schools it is taught that since the land is called Hindustan it only belongs to Hindus and ALL the muslims should be kicked out.how ironic??

  • 6:-In India in recent times there has been agitations to change the names of places given by foreigners. They have changed Bombay to Mumbai, Madras to Chennai, Calcutta to kolkatta , Bangalore to Benguluru etc. Most of the names of the places given by outsiders are being changed. But they have not changed the biggest name :-India!!!and Hindustan also. How ironic??? Would there be a movement in India to change the name of the country , i hope so cos all this identity crisis is due to names only :D

  • 1) Pakistan has every right to claim that indus civilization (at least the place) belongs to pakistan.

    2) It can not say that Indus culture do not belongs to India as the culture migrated along with its people to current India.

3)Indians and pakistanis are the same people who once lieved in Indus civilization.

4)To see the place you have to go Pakistan, to experiance the culture you have to go to India. Pakistani culture is adopted by the netives of indus vally when mughals ruled on them

  • @mountaidew 4)To see the place you have to go Pakistan, to experiance the culture you have to go to India

To see AND experience the culture you have to go to Pakistan, to see a propaganda poster claiming it to be theirs, you have to go to India

  • Well..Sindh province..or Sindhudesh..bears the same name to this day.

  • india has a hindi and english name.japan is called nippon in japanese , and japan is english.likewise india is called bharat in hindi.

  • actually it wsnt the muslims who invented 'hindustan' it was hte persian but BEFORE they were muslim

  • What is that? Pakistanis haven't any history they have only relations with foreign muslim who came to India and convert those people into Muslims they have not even a little connection with Indus Vally Civilization..the muslims came to India & destroy & partitioned our country....& still destroying the whole world...all muslims should be sent to the Mars so that the earth stayed in PEACE....

  • Also, many groups have had to migrate around and throughout the Subcontinent due to the partition and their own will of course. So our peoples and histories do interconnect. There is no doubt about that.

  • Please learn about the "partition". Only Punjab was "partioned". Pakistan was the Union of 5 provinces.

95% of the Pakistani population is native. Besides, 1947 events shouldn't affect the lands ancient history.

  • bengal was partitioned

  • @gujjucheap Bengal was partitioned much time before 1947.

  • Indians are morons. India has no historical significance other than the fact that it is a product of Nehru and British. Before that there was no India as it was always divided in mini states. In South Asia there were two civilizations, Indus and Gangetic. They were both different and had very little connection. Also the Indus civilization is far more older than the Gangetic. People of Indus were not hindus, they had their own religion. Finally Pakistanis are different from the Indians.

  • Pakistan Belongs to Pakistani and the Muslims, we get this part because in this part there were more muslims, the british decided to give this Part to us because there were more muslims in This part at that time and now aswell and in india there were more muslims but bloody british of that time gives more land to indians if you want prove than see the taj mahal its ours and many other things you can see.

  • Pakistanis dont 'belong' to Indians. India has nothing to do with the Pakistani Identity. And there is no denying that Pakistani culture is Islamic influenced. This vid shows the Indus origins of Pakistanis.

Indians have their own history, land, origins.

  • ...wrong.

IVC was concentrated around the Indus River, which is modern Pakistan, which also happens to be where the people of Pakistan are concentrated.

i.e People of Pakistan are the people of the Indus.

People like you dont have a problem when IVC gets labelled Indian, however flawed and incorrect that statement actually is.

Are you also going to tell Egyptians, Iranians, Greeks, Chinese not to be proud of their histories because, the modern countries are different from the Ancient ones?

  • Ok, let's just deal with FACTS for a moment and stop bitching, yes indus valley civiliastion is now in MODERN pakistan ( reason being there was no pakistan named country before 1947, but it deos not mean that the people were not there) . now the people that are now there which are mostly muslims are majority converts. the reason that indus valley cicilasation is linked to INDIA, by scholors who have investigated it , is because of the MANY links it has to india.

  • your wrong moron

  • just a question is the indus valley where hindus r frm?

  • please read the posts here. Indus Valley predates Hinduism by 1000s of years. Hindus are not from Indus Valley, neither are Indians.

  • do u knw what religion they wer i mean t its not rely wer pakistanis come from because it was in the indian subcontinent im guessing they wer pagan sun worshippers

  • Indus Valley lies entirely in Pakistan, and Pakistanis have always lived on those lands as far as history has been recorded.

The Subcontinents history doesnt automatically belong to India. This is why the subcontinent is also called South Asia. You have to remember that the Indian people have nothing to do with the lands of Pakistan.

As for the religion, nobody knows what they followed because their scripts have not been deciphered. Not much is known about their culture, language or religion.

  • i dunno bout 95 per cent being pakistani lahore was the sikh capital i dnt think pakistanis can claim the indus completely

  • Sikhs came into the picture long after the indus valley. Besides Lahore is not the Indus.

Nobody has denied the similarities between Pakistani Punjabis and Indian Punjabis, but people get carried away and use this relation to hijack all of Pakistans history for India.

Note that Punjabi sikhs are a minority in India, and only a fraction of that minority has links with Pakistan.

  • the reason i say is bcos i read that the persians and greeks called the people of the indus river indus or sindhus which was the bases for hindu and that they found models of a God that was described as an early prototype of shiva, and alot of indians use to liv in present day day pakistan before partition

  • Whatever the people were called, they are modern day Pakistanis, not Indians.

95% of Pakistanis are native, so migrations dont change anything.

And Hinduism didnt come about until long after the Indus Valley had collapsed.

  • Actually most of our ancient ancestors were Hindus and were either forced to convert or coverted on their own to Islam when it was brought by the Mughals and Arabs. Today we are mostly Muslims in Pakistan, but the connection to India is there.

  • I hate it when nationalistic mind uses historical information in twisted ways. At the time of Indus valley civilization, there was no India nor Pakistan. It's the precursor civilization of what is now Indian subcontinent. That's right. It is not India nor Pakistan nor Bangladesh nor Sir Lanka nor Nepal. It is the whole damn subcontinent. Got it retards?

  • We Pakistanis are only converted muslims & are muhammed's adopted childrens. so how you hindus or indians claim for Indus Valley.

  • THe name Pakistan did not exist until 1947 (partition). This is why it is called the Indus Valley not the Paki valley.

  • I never questioned that. I simply stated that it has nothing to do with India, and its part of Pakistani heritage, since Indus Valley is entirely in Pak.

  • there was no partition. we are not dravidian we are Pakistanis by race.

  • Good one , speaks of our ancestors ...

good number of people from the subcontinent.

  • 5000 years ago, India wasnt empty. Why do you have to borrow Pakistani Ancestors?

  • It is called indus civilization because it is located on the bank of River Indus. Indus does not refers to india.

  • Before British rule, Muslims owned the entire subcontinent. Already rewriting history eh?

  • I am so tired of repeating myself over and over again because Idiots like yourself cant read what this thread is about.

Indus Valley is in Pakistan, it belongs to Pakistanis. Just because Indians stole the name in 1947 means absolutely nothing to me. And I have never associated IVC with Islam, so stop pulling these things out of your ass.

This is not Indian history so stop showing off your insecurity. Is it impossible for Indians to be proud of something which is actually inside their country?

  • If u preserve it by calling it pakistani history then it will be great favour for India

Hope Taliban do not destroy these historical sites

  • This has nothing to do with India, and I could care less about your country. The history belongs to Pakistanis, thats why we call it Pakistani and not Indian.

  • Us pakistanis were always living in this land no fucking indian was there. THis is ourland you gando kay bachay

  • well you dont have to be worried about it

as you got nothing to do with it

  • I wont dignify that hindutva crap. Put forward real arguments and I might reply if they havent already been covered.

  • History of Punjab is shared. Never denied that, but 1947 political situations shouldnt label the history of the entire subcontinent as Indian. Funny how you get technical about it when usually you claim it all belongs to India.

Kashmiri history belongs to Kashmiris, and Punjabi history belongs to Punjabis. This is what I have been arguing since post 1. Indians here usually want to label everything as Indian regardless.

  • I THINK YOU ARE RIGHT. but there was a time when this place was india. so poeple still call it Indian history. but you also have point. DON'T FIGHT OVER RELGION AND LL THSES STUPID ISSUES. WE ALL HUMAN ARE SAME. THIS WORLD BELONGS TO US. NOT JUST INDIA OR PAKISTAN.PEACE!!

  • The place was only called "India" during British rule. 1958-1947. But you missed the point. People want to call it Indian history to credit modern Indian people. Its the usual anti Pakistani views.

  • nothing is anti-pakistani my friend. don't think that way. Pakistan was made in 1947. after that the place was called pakistan.before pakistan it was british india and before british india it was sikh kingdom. and before that there was mughal Era and before that some other and before that some old hindu era.. and so on.. but yes THE PLACE NOW IS CALLED PAKISTAN. if you go back in the history. We are same my friend. only our minds and thoughts had been changed time to time.

  • AHAAHAHHAAH DID YOU FORGET THE 600 YEARS OF MUSLIM MUGHAL RULE? and when the british left they shouldve given back india to the muslim people because they were ruling it when the white fucks came.

  • dost do some introspection , call it collective past , what dou you get by so much of hatred ,

you will still reply to this with choicest of abuses but still maybe u should ponder and consider each other people sharing a same heritage.

  • maybe after 10000 yrs or so.. there won't be any india or pakistan.. who knows.. ther could be some other contry or whatev... WHY THE HELL ARE WE PEOPLE FIGHTING DEAR. PEACE AND LOVE FOR ALL HUMAN REGARDLESS OF OUR RELGION,COUNTRY, OR WHATEVER GROUP WE ARE.

  • The indus valley is indian land and everything was from indian blood not pakistan.

  • How is it "Indian blood" when they were Pakistani ancestors?

I understand your jealousy though. Keep talking out of your ass to feel more important.

  • yea and monkeys can fly right ?????

  • yeah you are right cause indians contradict themselves when they call us "indians" and at the same time call us middle easterners (persians, turkic, arab whatever)

  • Comment removed

  • Why shouldn't V celebrate our History. V R a multi ethnic country. V R proud of our indiginous heritage whether it is mehenjodero or Taxila, the city of king Ashoka. If Indians can enjoy the appreciation of world through Taj Mehal then why not us.

  • Mohenjodero

has many meanings including both "mound of the dead" as well as "The gates of Mohan". But due to "its Graveyard looks" the local people call the place as the mounds of the dead.

  • Comment removed

  • Nope we became Muslim to escape the caste system. And sad news ALOT of dalits are converting to Islam so no more slaves for you.

And more sad news the people of the vedic slaughtered cows & buried their dead

Another peace of news i gave you for trolling on my video is that Air India buys B767 & B777 BOTH planes have engine components supplied by PAKISTAN to Boeing. Any more questions cow piss drinker? Caste sytem follower :D

  • Folks, its even doubtful that these people were Hindus the way we understand Hiduism today. The only thing that can be said is that they took their plumbing and Hygiene seriously and too me that is the height of civilization. Let's all Worship the Act of Bathing and the Bidet! This Music does not work for me...Try something different!

  • its not abt stealing histroy...thts pretty stupid...im a sindhi and our origins started from the balochestan area....islam in south asia spread from there ....mohen jo daro in sindhi means "the gates of mohan i.e. krishna" ......

  • Every Indian who comes on here claims to "really be from Pakistan". Seriously, this bs already.

And Mohenjo Daro means, "Mound of the Dead". Thats according to all major encyclopaedias.

  • dont worry pakuztanium that is a common claim for ALOT of indians here who claim to be sindhi and dont know a darn thing about Sindhi language or history. And you are right about the meaning it does mean mound of the dead.

  • Everyone is missing the point here, the Indus Valley built the most sophisticated infrastructure during their time. And both India and Pakistan lack this wonderful and organized design to their urban planning and especially the rural areas. Nationalism and too much pride in relgion destroys people and society. I hope in my lifetime I could visit the Indus Valley.

Love and Peace to India and Pakistan

  • They were not Hindu, their religion is unknown, their language has never been deciphered.

And quote one place where I claimed they were Muslim. I have never claimed that, I simply stated that this is the history of Pakistani people. Pre Islamic history.

Its funny how I seem to be repeating answers to moronic questions constantly.

  • Its true we all have to avoid that inherent tendency to selectively identify with an ancient civilization to feel important in the present.

I mean, if we are using the ancestor line, might as well follow it to conclusion, and we all know where that leads :P

P.s. I cant wait until the seals are intelligably deciphered.

  • Ancestors leads to Pakistanis since they have always stayed on that land. Records go back 1000s of years to when cities like Lahore and Peshawar appeared. Remember, we are talking about history which happened in Pakistan. Its very ignorant of neighbouring countries to try to claim it.

I just noticed you are Sri Lankan. Did you mean that the IVC people were Dravidian? If so, then I hope you realise that theory is disregarded by the world and has no evidence to support it.

  • Hi, just been reading the tuns of crap on here and finally stoped realising it was written by people with closed minds, who offered no more truth or reality then a harry potter novel. I think the tags india and pakistan are partly to blame.

  • Closed minds eh? First, I dont know why an Indian should care about Pakistani ancestors or history which happened in Pakistan. Its just none of your business, and the fact that you think it is, shows you are a bunch of jealous idiots.

If you truly dont care, be proud of history which is in India, work on improving your country, and stop even looking on the other side let alone constantly butting in to claim your so called history in Pakistan.

  • India tags? Where I dont see india in the tags section of this video. You must be blind and Im not surprised

  • Wtf? This is Pakistan idiot.

Get your logic straight, since when Did Pakistanis invade the Pakistan region? They have always lived there.

Indians stealing Pakistani history is a much better example of "Using another country's history to glorify your own".

Think about it, they are Pakistani ancestors, not yours.

  • check the CIA factbook on India's history before spreading what you saw in an indian bollywood crap. "son of indus valley were dravidians" I think people would preffer to trust the CIA academics rather than listen to some illiterate street kid from the slums of bombay

  • what the fuck are you talking about you dumb muslim inferior fucking monkey? If you look at historical fact dravidians lived there till the river sarasvathi ( note the hindu name) dried up ..then they went south..i have better things to do than to explain historical facts to another uneducated paki..you muslim fuckers only occupied the land once it became barron...the only time you muslims can afford land - when no one else wants it

  • You must be on serious crack. Why would it even matter if the name even was "Hindu"? IVC language has never been deciphered.

Pakistanis have always lived there. You pretend to "know" all the facts, then get this one. Pakistan has nothing to do with you. It belongs to Pakistanis, its history belongs to us too.

And its called the Indus Valley, because the cities are located around the indus river. The river still flows today, Nobody cares about your imaginary river. It has nothing to do with IVC.

  • calling me paki? I really used enjoy calling you dravidians the N word cause of you U guyz look blacker than africans and are amongst the hairest people Ive ever seen But U know what I've grown out of that name calling habbit. I've never sunk to your level. Seeing your channel you are one of the biggest racists. You say we occupied land but it looks like you're accusing everyone of that from Pakistanis to Sri Lankans. One day you'll be saying the whole world belonged to you

  • uhh thisis India not pakistan

  • Mashallah! Truly Inspiring Video. Pakistan is truly land of the pure.

  • The entire region of South Asia, even though more diverse culturally than the whole of Europe, shares similar roots of origin and a similar value system and outlook towards life that makes it uniquely different from the rest of the world. It was seldom united politically the cultural heritage had interlinked its parts through the ages in a strong bond of mutual respect and tolerance.

  • Salaam Aleikum Omerlives/Pakizstanium, glad to see you guys spreading the knowledge that Pakistan was never part of India, but a region with its own culture and heritage. Keep it up.

  • Nalanda was already in severe decline because of Sena Dynasty's pro Brahanism attiude and his implementation of caste system.

However, it was operating in Bengal until invasion of Turks at 1200 which destroyed it. Invasion causes destruction, it has always been, its very stupid to relate it with religion. The Mongol Buddhist and Shamans of Great Khan's army destroyed universities, grand library of Baghdad at 1258, does it anything to do with religion? you would be stupid if you think so.

  • good video.

  • History of Pakistan is broader than India. Pakistan is a part of a great series of Muslim countries where as India is a blessing of British on hindus that they have handed over a structured system to hindus.

  • Go through these posts and the video. When did I even mention Islam or Muslims?

You cant get it into your brain that Pakistani history doesnt have to be Muslim. Pakistanis used to be Buddhists once too. I know you want to claim that history but its not going to happen.

  • Are there any documentaries on the Harrapan culture? Not that this video wasn't informative, but has the Discovery Channel had any tv shows about this?

  • Hinduism has nothing to do with Vedicism. And Harappans were not Vedics.

Vedic people ate the meat of a cow, kinda stupid to claim they were Hindus when it contradicts your religion.

Indian people simply have nothing to do with Pakistan, Indus Valley or Pakistani people. You have nothing to "reclaim". And as for falling apart, Khalistan is on its way.

  • love how indians attack yet another pakistani video, notice it is unprovoked and notice also that pakistanis hardly ever initiate an attack on an indian video

  • Yes Ancient, unless you are suggesting that there was water there before 1947. The history belongs to Pakistanis, I understand that you feel the need to steal it.

  • this is Pakistan's history not India's. Indains try to link evrything to themselves.

Pakistan is a successor state of INdus Civilization.

by the way harrapans were buddishts.

  • I agree with you. But the Harappans werent Buddhists. Nobody knows what religion they followed since we dont understand their writings. We just know they buried their dead and ate all kinds of meat.

But the Ghandarans (Pakistan and East Afghanistan) were Buddhists, and they gave the world zero. Not Indians.

  • i thought they were buddhists. thanks for telling me anyway.

  • There is a reason they call it the Harappan civilisation or the Indus Civilisation.

    1. The cities have to be similar to Harappa to prove the same people built them.

    2. The cities were around the Indus river only, i.e in Pakistan.

Indus Valley is the region called Pakistan.

They havent to this day been able to find anything like Harappa or Mohenjo Daro in India, so Indus Valley cities do no exist in India.

  • Yes it was, but you are wrong about anything Indus Valley being found in India, let alone South India.

Do you understand that Indus Valley means the Valley of the Indus river? The cities which belong to this river are Harappa and Mohanjo Daro.

    Nothing like this h
