@husker666 Agreed. You need to be def to not realize that "grunge" was a re-branding of music that was played during (same time) the hair metal years, only because MTV didn't give it the exposure (or market it), doesn't mean it wasn't already there. MTV killed the talent of my generation.
Bob rocked this one a LOT harder in Chicago last night as an opener -- during the solo he raged and lumbered around the stage like a stampeding elephant. It took me back to the Husker days for a moment.

Who's Husker Du?

I swear, I have been a straight man all my life, but if Bob Mould were to come on to me, I'd be tempted. If only to say thanks for the music.

mrgb46 I couldn't agree more. Husker Du was a massive influence on everything that happened in the early 90's. They deserve a spot, immediately.

@jenica2072 Husker Du will never get the credit they deserve. Nirvana always gets the credit and imo they suck.

When I saw Sugar on the Beaster tour, he was so full of pent up rage I was thinking to myself, "What a badass."
xplund 1 year ago
@xplund Saw him in solo in Chapel Hill and in '89 or '90 and saw the rage- He gave a tight and emotional performance that I still remember.
