@IIIIN3ROOIIII And to be fair, the 451 HP is actually heavily detuned. That engine is a monster engine that can pump up to 750 HP, naturally aspirated. The SLS AMG has basically the same engine with reworked internals. Additionally, I know quite a few people who have brought the C63 and single ECU upgrades costing about $1500 have made their car push 550 HP.

No E55 or E63 for coupe/convertible for now. What he might have is the AMG kit on the car... but it's like with BMW ... bmw 1 with M packet is not BMW M1 ...

They didn't say that was the displacement - they just named them 63 to pay respect to the 6.3 liter classic cars of the early 70's - the fastest sedans in the world until the 6.9 rolled out in 1975 - in both cases they took the huge engines out of their limos and stuffed them in regular sedans for outrageous performance. You are right. A friend's dad had a 1976 450 6.9 S class. It was a beast! I just wish the new c 63 retained the last 5.5 liter kompressor engine with this current chassis. Would probably not be as eye-popping fast but the handling would be superb.

ill tell u exactly why they say its a 6.3 liter. its because european car laws require the companies to round off the engine liters to the nearest whatever & it just happened that its just over a 6.2 so they have to say its a 6.3 liter. so they dont lie on porpuse. theyre forced to lie by the Government
