@bramesvin - congratulations you are an RN now! thank you for your advices on the review for nclex-rn exam. i would like to ask you if the hospitals here in CA would hire new grad nurses? is there a training programs for new grad nurses? i heard from friends that the hospitals wanted experienced nurses from US hospital settings. is its true, it will be very difficult for filipino nurses to get a job. pls reply.
@lalaineabiera i would suggest to keep applying and never quit..it's hard to get a job at the hospitals specially for new nurses..i work at a nursing home but you know i'm happy better non nothing...go to usajobs.com or indeed.com and search for new grad program. i haven't tried outside california yet..and i heard that it's easier compare to california...

@jb0yTV you need all the encouragement you can get...stay positive...ULTIMATELY STUDY STUDY STUDY when it all comes down to it....since this is the most impt test of a nurse's life if you gave 100% the 1st time gave 200% the second on the 3rd you should give 300%. it will not happen overnight kelangan talaga MEGA TIYAGA and sacrifice of social life. lintek wala akong phinga kaunti lng since i got back from US tol. ngayon lng ako meron but now i'm making resume ibang chapter naman
@jb0yTV gawin mo na lahat in your power para wala kang regrets in the end. you can do this jeff focus on the assigned reading don't think about the following day ksi ma stress ka lang....your life should be study and family lang and exercise..nclex is YOU TIME! you need to spend as much time....it took me tol almost a year of ME time studying wla ako inisip kungdi magaral kapg kgising...no distraction when studying..jeff u have to believe even when u don't kasi it will u nid all the encourgement
@jb0yTV nakita mu from day kung gano ko pinagtrabahuhan ang studying nclex from library maghapon man halos di na ako kumain hanggang gabi...tape record while studying para mag stick sa brain mu yung binabasa mo so whenever you are out, you can play it back. ganun gnawa ko lalo na dun sa hindi ko maintindihan...sa bond paper write down lab values and stick it to ur wall or mga meds (classification/side effects teachings) you see a lot of work but was it worth it at the end? yup..
saunders answer mo muna 75 items pretest and at the end print mu yung study calendar. the study calendar compose of 3 chapters per day. it has 50 something chapter if you're going to read 1 chapter per day that would take you 50 something days to finish if you have that precious time go for it..but i suggest sticking into calendar so you study other things on the remaining days..kung hindi mo matapos okay lang basta try to finish as much as you can dun sa assigned task.
@jboyTV alam mu yung friend ko pinahiram nya yung kaplan book sa akin 2 weeks prior to exam and i like the kaplan book...binasa ko lang yung mga mahina ako doon..sa saunders focus sa assessment and intervention....UNDERLINE/HIGHLIGHT/TAKE NOTES sa mga stuff na you either need to memorize or mahina ka esp MEDS or mga endo stuff like addisson and cushings pero hindi ka malito. IT may seem like walang pumapasok pero the fact na binasa mu will help you rather than u didnt
@bramesvin madali lng intindihin si saunders kasi very thorough sya para ka nyang binibaby step by step matter of fact and approach nya..kaya kay saunders matututo ka...ako kasi i made studying nclex like a full time job so whatever your sked na appropriate sau stick to that...i encourage you to take it as a full time job and it should take most of your time kasi mahirap tlga kapag hindi mu tututukan ng maayos pag-aaral. I'm only speaking on my behalf nakita mu kung gano ko pinagtrabahuhan
