  • I'm in that rut now & have gained 7-10 lbs in the last 2 months, my solution is to stop going to drive thru's & force breakfast (like small bowl of oatmeal) & I just found out about rejuvilac & will be adding that & fresh homemade wheatgrass juice to my diet. I'll keep you posted

  • I have to eat like this because it is the month of Ramadan and as Muslims, we are not ALLOWED to eat during the day (around 1.5 hrs. before sunrise until sunset). Any suggestions for making this pattern of eating as healthful as possible?

    There are over 1.5 billion Muslims out there and anything that could be tailored to these particular eccentricities would be awesome!

  • hey man i am actually in that pattern rite now. i'ts these eccentric lifestyle patterns that we have these days. a lot of people don't carry a constant routine. meaning their routine is to be basically unroutine-less.

    however to respond to your question. no matter at what time i get up, whether i sleep in, or get up early, i am always deprived of nutrition when i wake up. i have to drink a glass of milk when i wake up. its the only thing that makes the pain go away when i get out of bed.

  • Been on CRON (or CR) since I was 18, am now almost 25 and it works great. Keeps you looking very young too ;) Well for it has for me. Also cured my hayfever, acne and other things. I was never overweight, always been lean, but far healthier on CR. Blood work shows amazing results :)

I have a queation for you?, I went raw 1 month ago and twice now I've had the worst stomach cramps I've had in my life!!!! the pain was so bad I had to go to hospital and be hooked up to morphine, I wash veg etc,,,,,,,,,,any ideas please,,,thank you so much.

  • take your time to transition into a raw diet. All that sudden fiber and detoxing makes your body really confused. Trust me, been there done that!

  • I am more likely to get in that eating pattern when I'm working but I'm unemployed right now so my eating pattern is better. I've noticed I have more energy and alertness through the day. I think I'm eating less too. I guess that means I should make sure to keep this up when I get a job. Big luch box here I come.

  • when ive eaten like that even if i have enough sleep i can not get out of bed, i feel like i could sleep the entire day

  • oh and i know someone is gonna comment on juicing or smoothies: my neighbors complain a lot, and I was told It "bothered" my neighbors to use my blending or my juicer before noon, i dunno im just at a point where im outta ideas

  • yes i am in that eating pattern right now, I thought it was working for me, I don't gain weight but im certainly not losing it (which is what i want, im not ashamed to admit i am 100lbs over weight and working on it) I work all kinda odd hours and im finding it really hard to balance eating and working. i know that sounds terrible! I have this problem where i cant wake up at a normal hour becuase i just dont have the energy, any tips? I just never have time in the morning for breakfast

  • if you are making something for yourself at night when you have the time (smoothie or whatever), throw it in the fridge and have it for breakfast instead of late night dinner / snack. not eating late should help make it easier to wake up in the morning.

  • Indeed, and glad you made the point that calorie restriction isn't about starving! I am sat down for alot of the day because I am studying, so I calculate the amount of calories which I just limit myself to according to that lifestyle. I certainly don't feel energy deplete, because I have the energy required for my current sedentary lifestyle! I don 't gain or lose weight, just stay on an even keel :))

  • That's a good idea! I don't calculate the amount of calories I take in, but I have a couple of times out of curiousity. I found I naturally eat like one who eats a CR diet. I am pretty thin, but in the healthy weight range; I menstruate normally, so I don't see the problem. My normal daily diet is usually 2-3 pints veggie juice, fruit during the day and a salad. I don't gain or lose weight either, and I'm naturally thin with a small appetite.

  • Neither you or Matt Monarch ever seem to really know what day it is! I always laugh when you start your shows. It's great actually, a sign of true freedom! :) Thank you so much for everything you're doing. Wish you were coming to Raw Spirit East!

  • yes that is my eating pattern right now, I definitely notice I very sluggish through the day, and I feel bloated a lot of the times. I am considering trying raw for the next 30 days I am very curious to see and feel the changes

  • Kevin, I have a question.

    Which blender would you buy? The Vita-mix or the Blendtac total blender? I have a digestive issue and need a blender that will make smooth drinks and food. Which one would you consider buying? I keep on getting different infromation on them!

  • @simplegrl86 Ever try Montel Williams Healthmaster Blender? I have seen it. it looks good. Im new at raw foods. Its 200 bucks. Its worth it. I am aiming to get one. Good Luck

  • I'll confess...I'm a night eater. I usually eat at night and don't eat anything during the day. I've noticed that it is unhealthy for me. I'm having a hard time stopping that cycle.

    Through eating at night I've gained a lot of weight. I always feel tired all the time.

    But, I'm glad I see it now. And, I'm slowly trying to change.

    Just found out my that B-12 is only 72pmol/L, so i'm hoping that once i get that straightened out, my sleep cycle will begin to right itself, and then i can regulate my eating better as well...

  • Man I love breakfast!! It used to be my favorite meal of the day...before I went raw. Eggs, hashbrowns, toast and bacon, YUM. And they say eating breakfast will help you lose weight, yea right. This gal loves the eat every 3 or so hours method. And now that i went raw, continue to do that especially using juicing or smoothies for the between meals snacks.

  • Umm I'm not sure if you realized this but

    episode 360 is: Is eating at night bad / Where can you get rock dust and more and for episode 362 its: How to make young thai coconut / Is calorie restriction starvation. So you might wanna change that I think this is episode 364

  • This is absolute BS. Not everyone who eats minimal calories loses weight, such as someone practicing breatharianism or liquidarianism. I have never counted calories and always try to eat a minimal amount, and I am not losing any weight.  Other sources of nourishment, such as prana, make up for the difference. Calorie restricition is ideally a few hundred calories a day, not simply less.

  • Depends on where your consciousness is at, and being how limited it is for most people, then yes it would be nonsense.

  • Thanks for the info on calorie restriction! I've heard about it many times and always wondered about that, but I've never bothered to look more closely into it.

    And yes, I've been into that eating pattern many times. Makes me feel awful and tired.

    I usually fall into it because I don't feel hungry in the evening and skip dinner. Then I get really hungry later at night.

    So I sometimes force myself to eat in the evening.
