This movie was really great, amazing actors and it really shows what sort of shit used to happen back then, to be honest some of it has become worse. Amazing movie though :)

What parts in Glasgow was NEDS filmed in. For instance the bridge scene where the Car D and the Krew fight and the first time John meets the Car D when the guy wae the glasses squares up tae John. The high rise flats bit.

It was obviously a delinquent that came up with the term...

This is what a film should be. It was not a treatise on ballet or style, so move away from that premise all you negative commenters, and you just might enjoy this film. Director carried the film beautifully. If you haven't seen it, go on fillmsi.co.cc before the Oscars.

The frist half was excellent, the second half was a confused pretentious mess. Typical british cinema, over stylised and trying too hard to be deep. The ending was a joke.

@MrPblower Well, we do bite often, you are right. But that's only because we have a serious issue going on and there is a lot at stake for us. The problem is, the wealth doesn't originate in London. London receives the wealth from a variety of sources, including Scotland. They merely divide it up. In Scotland we have a problem with that method, and many English people do to (Barnett), therefore we want our wealth to start in Scotland and be managed by Edinburgh instead.

@phgpi1 the end is actually not about that. The lions are meant to represent Glasgow and what Glasgow's nature is like, it's comparing Glasgow to a lion pit and walking through it is a danger and is unpredictable.
