Google Maps UK: List your business online

Wow, how out of date is this :( Go onto Google Maps UK now and try to add your business - it just sends you through to Google Places. All my American friends are talking about how they can list themselves on Maps AND Places. I do hope we'll be able to access Google Maps UK soon because I have several clients who have an incorrect grey marker but no way of putting things right.
