  • philly woulda found any oxys citys full of fiends.... razz oz sub kad nope etc

  • i wonder if theres any oxys or percs in those medical suppy kits.

  • Yeah, just leave those Survival biscuits there, so the room gets infested with rats.

  • wow cool I wish I could have gone there....

  • this man died 20 years ago

  • 1:02 RAZZ on the door, old school graffiti artist

  • "It would have been a temporary stop before you died." Holy crap - those words will chill the soul.

  • I know one of the nearby courthouses had a stash of supplies until about 10 years ago, when they threw it out at the county dump.

  • "probably a good thing nuclear war never occurred"..probably? it IS a good thing. considering we'd all be toast by now and the planet would be ruined.. so yeah i'd say it's a pretty damn good thing.

  • That old subway tunnel made a good ready-built fallout shelter with only conversion costs needed from the Philly civil defense.

  • Let's open a tin of crackers. The rats are hungry.

  • I love it. its good to know that im not the only one who pays attention to the tunnels and wonder that the doors and hidden tunnels within the runnel lead. Thank you for the video. keep them coming

  • what station is that?

  • Based on the color of the tiles outside the room, it looks like Walnut-Locust on the Broad Street Line. It is easy to wander accidentally from the Broad Street Concourse underground to the Walnut-Locust station without even realizing it. :)

  • @cowboyzsuk81 city hall

  • hrdknox2000- just as a warning, although those candies may be good (yes they are consumable) they can cause cancer

  • While the guys says he'd eat the crackers today, I wouldn't. I opened one of those cans of "Survival Biscuits" and they smelled horrible. I WOULD, however, eat the Civid Defense candies he mentioned. I've eaten some and it's still good.

  • So.... you've been to that same spot???

  • @WhollyGhost I'm sorry, I didn't mean to suggest I'd been to THIS location, however, I've been to other fallout shelters and obtained their supplies and one of the cans of survival biscuits I opened was absolutely putrid! But I've eaten the candies or "Carbohydrate Supplement" and those were quite good!

  • No, you can find the cans of survival candy in various Fallout Shelters, as it was mass produced for the CD program in the 1960's along with the crackers.

  • @hrdknox2000 You were in there?

  • 4:24 looks like it's a really old comic book here!

  • it's porn.

  • there were thousannds of theses unntil bill clinton destroyed the CD

  • AWSOME!!!!!!!

  • Wow ! I love to see the history in my home town ! that's awesome !

  • Are they trying to Whistle? they go duck wshooo and cover

  • i grew up with vspizer, zane who was killed vin prison ,fub, ricky rules and km south philly later to be known as rara ernest was his real name. peace out nice to know someone still cares come to the graf meetings if you want to know the history of graf.

  • A atseroid could kill us because if you break with a nuke you poisen our air supply! Besides you will just make smaller more infected pieces!

  • Yes, I don't think there's any debate that an asteroid could indeed take us out. It probably would be a worse idea to nuke it and break it up into chunks... might be better off just hoping the one big chunk misses us! Also, there really are *not* missiles designed to take out asteroids. I think MemberOfTheMaggots has been watching too many movies!

  • you are very ill informed with myths. air cannot be poisoned by radiation. its the dust particles you have to worry about.

  • Does it really matter? You die either way.

  • Cool that some stuff was still good!

  • an asteroid couldnt take us out, no matter how large, several countries around the world have several LARGE missles designed to take out Asteroids, russia and the US have the largest amounts of the missles but there are several others that do as well

  • Not to mention the super secret multi-national space ship created in area 51.

  • mkay...

  • i saw this at school

  • Cool! It's neat because it makes you think about all the hidden stuff that's around you (or beneath you) all the time.

  • @WhollyGhost I totally wonder about that :) So much stuff gets hushed up & paved over or built on...

  • damz that some old graff shit razz on there lol

  • Yeah, I guess it's been a while since anyone has been in some of those tunnels! I didn't even notice graffiti the first time I watched the videos, but it is awesome that it's visible on there!

  • Those are newer tags. Suroc was one of the first to find these spots.

  • lol duck and cover yeah right they are dead!

  • thats crazy i walk the connector tunnels all the time.. it takes about 20 minutes to walk the entire complex.. i would have never guessed that most of it was built for war.

  • got that sort of thing on the london Underground too

  • i think its funny that they thought a school desk could protect you from a nuclear bomb.

  • I don't think anyone really believed that, but they couldn't bring themselves to tell children that they were utterly doomed in the event of a nuclear attack. We still live with the possibility of this happening today. Inevitably, there will be a full scale nuclear war, unless an asteroid or something else takes us out first.

  • a desk can protect you from the blast, depending on how far away from ground zero you are.

If you are directly under the fireball of an airburst, goodby.

If you are under the ground during a ground burst, still goodbye.

  • Who you calling a Cracker?

  • patco train on the city hall (NJ) stop has the same stuff. still erie to know this stuff you know?

  • He said north or City Hall, so I would guess it was near the City Hall station to Race-Wine?!

  • Yes, I think that's right. It's on the orange line near the Race-Vine stop, I guess. I think there are SEPTA bomb shelters in various locations... the video mentions that, and it's common sense, also. My brother works for SEPTA, and has claimed to have seen some of them.

  • wat is septa

  • a transportation system in philadelphia, pa

  • Comment removed

  • South Eastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority.

  • South

    Eastern

    Pennsylvania

    Transportation

    Authority

  • SouthEastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority

  • SEPTA tands for South Eastern Pa Transportation Auth.

  • We used to call Broad street subway the SEPTIC Tank because it smelled like one.

  • how does nuclear winter happen?

  • so much dust and debris from the bombs spews upward into the atmosphere causing the sun to be completely blocked for months, maybe years. long enough for all vegetation to die off, as well as severe winter weather all over the northern hemisphere

I think I wanna be vaporized instantly, so when the missiles fly, I'm heading downtown to high ground

  • "I think I wanna be vaporized instantly".....

That's what I've always hoped. Nuclear armageddon is inevitable, unless an asteroid or something else wipes out the human species first. I just hope it doesn't happen in my lifetime! And, if it does..... I'll be heading downtown with you!

  • i know but do u know what station is it near? i would like to adventure down there sometime.

  • It's from a documentary/special from the station WHYY in Philly.

  • How do u gain access to that? what station is it?

  • Fuck yeah RAZZ, BX, and SUB!

  • I remember seeing "RAZZ" grafitti everywhere in Philly. What does that RAZZ mean?

  • Razz doesn't mean anything. It's just a guys tag name. He was a graffiti writer. He was king of the walls for a really, really long time. He's actually a legend in Philly. That's why you recognize his name even though you probably aren't a graffiti writer yourself.

  • Sub and BX were kings too but probably not as legible to the average Joe as Razz was. Everybody remembers Razz wether they were even into graffiti or not. That's why he's the legend that he is.

  • He wasn't just a graffiti writer he was an artist named Curtis. Have you ever seen any tags by ZANE (Gerald)(r i p)from the writers gang K-I-W? that stands for King Imperial Walls. Razz was in a writing gang called LAW 1 along with RULES (Ricky) that means lunatics at writing. Remember FUB (Joseph) AND RARA from PDF. Pure Dee Funk?????????? They were the Philly kings of graffiti and don't you forget it!!!!!! "SPIZER" I know because I was there........

  • this is the original lord razz king of philly and founder of law1. razz means to tease someone or rough ass zulu .and iam the undisputed all time king of philly graf. people know my name because i wrote it everywhere and not so9lely because i wrote it ledgible like reading coke and pepsi its urban marketing and promotion.
