Uh, this is a touring car class, so you're rather restricted to what bodies you can run. And, if you ran an S7R or M5 shell, you wouldn't be in the A-Main....
And, look at the first two cars - both had nice paint jobs.
@Blotto12387 I find it hard to believe than an S7R wouldn't put you in the A-main. Aerodynamics are not important at the low speeds these cars are achieving. I doubt any of them are getting beyond thirty on this track...and even if it was, the Saleen S7R is a very sleek, very aerodynamic shape, with plenty of downforce.
Toy cars are serious business I guess...what do I know, I own one because it's fun to do donuts with.
@TestECull Oh, I beg to differ. RC racing (regardless of speed) is all about aerodynamics. The difference between an LTC-R and a Speed 6 is huge - the LTC-R will give you huge front grip due to the increase in downforce, whereas the Speed 6 will give you a smoother turn in.
If you look at all of the top TC drivers, I'm willing to bet that you won't find a single one running a body such as the Saleen. They wouldn't be able to compete...
Are they handing out cars or something? COME ON PEOPLE! Get some unique shells on these things! I'm sure with the thousands of dollars spent on batteries and tires a 20 dollar Elcam shell here, or an S7R there, or maybe an M5, perhaps an R34 Skyline, wouldn't hurt!
@TestECull LMFAO, bravo! you should probably tell Lewis Hamilton he should drive a Ford Mustang in F1. I mean common Lewis your car looks just like every other one out there...
@TestECull "Sigh" you should inform physics that somehow five of the same shaped bodies dramatically change the handling of you car.
For the record I am in no way arguing that the Mazda bodies closely resembly their family commutor based sedan.
Simply that from an over head/distant/unknowledgable view, F1 cars all look alike, just like from a over head/distant/unknowledgable view these R/C bodies all look alike.

@fallcildren ...You sure you're watching the same F1 I am? The MP4/26 is a uniquely different shape from any other car on the grid.
Never said it was a pretty shape, they're all rather bleh this year, but it's a unique shape.

@TestECull Just like the LTCR is uniquely different from the mazda 6, and the mazda 6 is uniquely different from the R9-R???

@fallcildren Actually, no. They all have the same shape...fuck, the 'Mazda 6' DOESN'T EVEN LOOK LIKE A FUCKING MAZDA SIX!
It's like telling me a NASCAR Charger is different from a NASCAR mustang because of the sticker on the valve covers...
