  • R.I.P to my great nana who passed away many years ago to this awful disease x

  • I've been fighting w/my daughter who is 17 & feels I might have it? But after today I think she might be right? I'm not the same person I was & have let things go when I was always careful before..But lately I got in to mess but don't understand why? My grandmother on my dad's side had it? Is it genetic? I'm 53 and scared!

  • @Godzie1 there is evidence that there is some hereditary factor in the development of Alzheimer's. i would say if you are having concerns consult your doctor, they can put you through the relevant tests. if it is in your family and you think that you my be showing some of the symptoms, i would go and get checked out even if it is for your peace of mind.

  • this was helpful for my school work, thanks

  • My question is if you can regain total cognitive function? My friend did it twice!

  • My best friend always has a home to come to! I will never abandon him!

  • My friend fell off the kitchen chair and his face hit the kitchen floor and hes a fever of 102 but what I cant understand is why he was so good for 4 years and now this!

  • i am a care manager in a longterm care facility dealing with alzheimers/dementia. i love my work, but it is sad to see my residents slowly fade away. some of them do very well for themselves while others need constant care. i havent had a day when a couple of them are trying to find a way out because they are afraid that they will be in trouble for not coming straight home from school. and some are trying to get home to their children. really sad. but i love all of them no matter what they do

  • @Kimlea2008 Virgin Coconut Oil? Doesit help Alzheimers patients?????????????????

  • So helpful for a person new to this. Thankyou !

  • it looks like " I HAVE AN ERASER IN MY HEAD

  • i have many many problems in recalling things and even my my handwritings not completed. i said this to my garndfather and he always said, it's just you imagination" i hardly can answer a question w/out being repeating. someone help me. its so difficult to have a life like this.but i'm only 14 years old to easily forget.

  • forget your neighbors name, right? even sometimes i doesnt know that my mother was talking about me, and i cant answer a question without being repeat, and always misplacing things, the people around me always misunderstands me. my garndfather always scolding me, even my titas and uncle. i always forget what am planned to say, but i am so very young to have this disease,i'm only 14 years old kid, i'm not sure.

  • @gdz071895 I very much doubt that at your age you have Alzheimers. In fact I'd probably bet my entire bank account you don't have it. BUT.....you may have some kind of common learning disorder or Attention Defecit Disorder. Many very successful, wealthy, famous people have various disorders like this. I would suggest going to a school guidance councilor and tell them

  • i'm so confused, when i watched a"moment to remember" it was look like i have this all symptoms. i'ts not normal to

  • its not a common thing for a person who is 14 to have it, but there could be other things happening.

if you are worried about it go to a doctor its the only way you will feel better about it.

i are you happy in yourself and do you feel stressed out?

stress can cause us to feel distanced and also make us forgetful.

i would say go to a doctor and speak it over

  • @thuggie1 Oh thank GOD! I was so worried, I'm stressed too. It makes sense.

  • My grandmother has not yet been diagnosed. She refuses to go to a doctor. She refuses to get a live in nurse. She lives alone. She forgets to eat. When she doesn't, she forgets to turn her gas stove off. She has a car, and she gets lost all the time. She lets strangers in her house. We are all worried, but she refuses any help at all.

  • i know in the UK you can get the Social work department to come in and help in situations like this.

i think in it is the same in the US they can help or they might know other governmental groups that can help in this situation

  • @thuggie1 I agree. When it comes down to a matter of safety, and not just her own, but others aswell could be harmed when she forgets the meanings of road signs or misinterprets them. This is an inevitable condition associated with aging, but in alzheimers it is a certainty. It is most likely your grandmother has some fears and possible misconceptions associated with in home care. It is good to talk to her and ask her what her concerns are in a setting thaqt is comfortable and safe to her.

  • Her safety is at risk..You must get her help in spite of her objections..It will be hard ONLY AT FIRST but she will get over it because there will be no choice..She will survive your love and oncern.. Don;t wait too long to get her some help..Baby steps

  • homer_sid

    I was diagnosed in 2008 aged 47yrs.

I feel sorry for my wife and children. The burden i will become on all of them, thats what scares me. God bless the Carers.

  • My father has been diagnosed a few days ago. he is 59 and me 27. I'm very sorry to hear this from such a young person...

God bless you and your family if you're a believer ( I am surely not)

  • @homersid1 you believe in god?

  • @MultiTrollHunter I believe in God and I want all Alzheimers patients to be in my heart! I love each and every one of you!

  • @padude64 I hate to be the one to break it to you but ermm.....gee this is kind of akward.....god isn't actually real. You were meant to kind of figure it out when you developed beyond infancy....sorry to be the bringer of bad news.

  • @MultiTrollHunter God is real! He revealed to me Virgin Coconut Oil and guess what, It is for Alzheimers Disease! God loves you when you want to seek help and have faith! My friend who has Alzheimers has regained complete cognitive abilty and he has moderate Alzheimers! Even if God gives me a few months, I am happy!

  • @padude64 poor deluded fool

  • @homersid1 God bless you sweet pea!

  • @homersid1

you wil never become a burden for the people who cares.

    good luck my friend.

  • Brain chip - CHECK MY SITE.

  • my best buddy in the world has this crap! I wish him well!

  • im really afraid of myself, i'm only 19, i think i have some problem in my brain, i have those early signs of this disease.. i forgot a lot of things w/c affects my work performance and my collegues notice it,. is it possible at this early age?

  • the only thing i can say to you is share your concerns with a doctor. forgetfulness could be a symptom of stress and a few other things other than Alzheimer's. if you have concerns over your health you always consult a doctor

  • Gracias Thuggie (Thanks)

  • vid added to one of my list

  • is it treatable for small ages?

  • What age does the disease usually occur at?

  • quite a lot of people develop it in their early to late 60's. but you can be as young a 20 or 30. it just depends.

  • I think you doctors are full of it! Dont mess with my friend to fill your pockets! I will fuck you up!

  • a nice guy huh, you threaten peeps all the time on YT. This is the fifth time I have seen your comments and they are negative and do not do any favors to other people that are going thru the same thing you are.

  • don't know there must be an exsplenation

  • I FEEL MY FRIEND IS DYIng in front of me and it is killing me!

  • it is hard to see a person you care for fade away the best thing is to be there pain is somthing that make use human if we did not feel pain when a person we care about is hurting or been hurt then we would need to think what is wrong with us it sound like you care for the person a lot and been there for them show your love
