@drummer4m , I have both , and I prefer the overdrive , if you layer it with a tiny bit of your amps distortion , it wroks wonders , be warned though , no matter how you use this pedal , it's quite noisy due to the plastic jacks :(
What sound would be more like the guitarist of Queen? the distortion pedal or overdrive? cause im gonna get another one of these and want one that has a nice classic rock sound
@eliades710 Jimi did not use overdrive, and as far as I know, there was no overdrive in those day, but mostly fuzzs. I just played around and gave it a try.
@musicnbooksdotcom Hey, my band and I are just starting out, and we were looking into these. Are these reliable and somewhat long lasting effects pedals?
@eliades710 Starting out, these FABs are very recommended. Cheap but sound good matter of fact sound great considering their prices. Housing is not metal but plastic so may not be as long lasting as metal housing pedals, but I never had repair returns from customers or dealers for housing problem.
I think the wires can be re-soldered (re connected) if they break apart. How over there is a circuit board in it and if that breaks then you are out of luck. Just don't treat it like a toy and you shoudl be fine
would you recommend switching it with you foot?

@Sublime3898 It should work fine, but like with any guitar pedal, you may lose low end.

I got this pedal but the sticker on it says "Flange" but it's silver, it's this same effect, I think the manufacturer put the wrong label on it
