CrXSi23..NO...the Lynx ZB500 is the fastest overall chopper to date. The Normal Lynx still holds the record for fastes production chopper. I should know im a British Royal Marine Commando and air door gunner for these bad boys. They fill a role....our British Apache Longbows fill the gunship role (adopted from the US) but these are still a GREAT utlity fast troop transport, fast supply and recconaisance chopper.

Actually the Westland Lynx model ZB500 is the FASTEST. This standard Lynx is the fastes Production Helicopter and fastest combat helicopter ever and the ZB500 is the official fastest at 365 MPH

No, the fastest helicopter in the world is the Westland ZB500 Lynx which is a slightly modified version of the lynx. And the normal lynx is the fastest production helicopter

The Apache's Main rotor blades are derived from the Lynx. It is the BERP (British Experimental Rotor Programme)blades that give it its maneuverability. The BERP IV blades have also just been fitted to the VH-71 Kestrel which is the President's new helicopter.
