  • The actress that played Jane from Season 2 is different from this one. I liked the other one better, she had a genuine innocence about her. This new one just seems like another Anne.

  • were learning bout this in class ;)

  • Loved the first two seasons!

I think Henry Cavill is handsome.

    ^.^

  • i i was jane i would not have married that man because duh hes crazy. im so lucky i wasnt born in thet time

  • Do you think advertisements between videos really make the consumer go out and purchase that product? It generates ad revenue and brand recognition. Perhaps its a good way to brainwash you.

  • Ann Bolyn might have been evil, but I do feel so sorry for her poor daughter.

  • Anne Bolyn was my favorite character on the show

  • She was really into tricking people, but I think in her heart she couldn't have loved her daughter more, she never trully loved Henry she wanted the thrown

  • i was talking about the actress i do not know her REAL name. But you are right about her wanting the throne but in the begining her father and uncle really pushed her and her sister into the position of palace whore

  • Love this Series.

  • i watch this every sunday love it!!!

  • eh my brother doesn't let me watch it even though i have show time but i love this show ! love love love it !

    5 stars !

  • incredible..can't afford showtime but this is some good stuff

  • Long live THE KING!!!

  • WOW !

  • I loved Anne. I loved her character so much. I thought i would not enjoy the show no longer without her. I was surprised how much i enjoyed seasen 3's first 3 episodes. I'm looking forward to the rest of seasen 3 ! Well worth buying showtime to watch!!

  • Loved it when His Majesty smacked Lord Cromwell in the back of the head in Episode 2. I've been wanting to do that for two seasons, but kudos to Thomas Frain's acting skill in bringing his character to life and making us hate his wicked ways and look forward to his fate. I DO miss Natalie Dormer (Queen Anne) and Maria Doyle Kennedy (Queen Catherine) who stole every scene they were in. Poor acting by Queen Jane. The Jane from Season 2 was just right-- young and innocent, but I love the show.

  • jojoarkie, I agree with everything you said except for the Jane part. I think Wallis is doing a good job. She seems to be playing the sincere & humble role better than the few clips we saw of Anita Briem in season 2. Wallis is more believable, in my opinion. With that said, I'm loving every bit of this series and I miss Anne too even though she was a slore. The Tudors will forever be waaay ahead of The Other Boleyn Girl. Can't wait to see episode 4 on Sunday.

  • is showtime going to put episode 2 up?

  • dam man i love these kinds of shows, but i dont feel like facking buying showtime rofl

  • God Henry lost it after a while he become a power hungry ass.

  • LMFAO

i like how he smacks him in the back of the head hahaha!

  • I hate the new Lady Jane the last one was a lot better. This one cant act worth crap.

  • I hate Lady Jane in general. She's annoying

  • Amen!!

  • same here.

  • There is god! =) <33

  • My name is Winchester Wallpaperhanger and there is no God.

  • Beautiful! Better quality than iTunes and download-able for free!

  • Period Dramas are so delicious!

  • GRR. > >;

    I miss Anne.

I don't like Jane at all.

    :grumbles;

  • woah 54.on youtube.

  • I miss Anne Boleyn so much :(

  • i agree!! she made the show good!!!

  • Oh I love this show!

I'm addicted to Jonathan Rhys Meyers

  • BEST SHOW EVEREERRRRRR

  • one of the best shows ever

  • is this jane a different actress from last seasons jane

  • yes the first one was anita briem, the second in season 3 is called annabella or something

  • yes

  • this epsiode is completly innacurate....

  • i know, but the tudors has been inaccurate in many parts. however, it's a very good show and they make good use of the drama and such from the era, adding as they please. i love it though!

  • Alot of it is innaccurate, but this series isn't meant to be a history lesson. Just view it as a entertainment series and it's a great show.

  • Actually, the series is fairly accurate...do your homework AgonyRose :-)

  • its funny all those wives, and the child of the most hated queen is the most respected ruler of england...elizabeth I

  • Needs more Charles Brandon.

    That is all.

  • It is with Jane Seymour he has his son Edward VII. Jane dies in childbirth and Henry regards her as his only "true" wife, despite marrying after her death. He chose to be buried next to her.

  • Um, that would be Edward VI, the child king. Edward VII ruled at the turn of the 20th century.

  • funny you mention about edward VI and Edward VII they both had short lived reigns no matter how they ended and not much impact on history and their works

  • interesting thx didn't kno tht

  • I love all of Henry's wives. Jane is so sweet and kind. I know people hate her for replacing anne, but Jane was a good person in her own right

  • I have loved this show since the first episode. It is an interesting look at the life of one of the greatest men in history. And, . . . Johnathan Rhys Meyers is just sexy as hell.

  • How good are the sex scenes in the unedited versions?? Anyone?? PLZ!!

  • I imagine the sex scenes are about the same as season 2. That is, completely watered down from season 1. Not that that's a bad thing.

  • It's to make room for more polital intrigue, which I honestly would much rather watch than endless raunchy sex. Sex is great, but in implements. It CAN get boring after a while.

  • Ok I supposes. I'm not really one for long repetitive sex. They are not for children to watch though. This IS Showtime. Like HBO, they never let up on either violence or sex.

  • OMG i just discovered this series!! my obsession with the house of Tudor is now only being further fed by this show!!

  • AWESOME!

I was really afraid that it wouldn't be the same without Anne, because we didn't get to see much of Jane Seymour's character last season. I'm so glad that I was wrong! I love Annabelle Wallis as Jane. I can't wait for the next episode!

  • I adored this show when it first came out, however, I think it moved too quickly and especially across the time with Anne Boleyn. With the show moving on to Seymour so quickly, so did my interest. Sorry Showtime!

  • Oh, shut up. Not everyone is a religious nut.

  • And not everyone is childishly rude when confronted by beliefs that are not their own. I personally am Jewish (got a problem with that?), but I am disgusted by anyone who feels that they can just trample the beliefs of others or that people who are not likeminded to themselves should not be able to express their religious views publicly. The only NUT here is you.

  • Comment removed

  • If you hate Jews because most are more educated than you, I can fix that. See, its 'arrogant kikes' not 'arrogant, kikes', chosen people, my ass' not 'choosen people my ass', 'hop in an oven, heebie. You're not supierior to anyone' not 'hop in an oven heebie, youre not superior to anyone', and so forth. Also, the correct spelling is 'oblivion'.

  • Also, please forgive my ignorance, but what is PISSREAL and why do you want to FUCK it so badly? Some kike steal your gf, or are PISSREALIS just that hot? Can you find IRAN on a map? How does one bomb the past? You see, I don't see myself as superior to everyone...just illiterate moral cowards like yourself.

  • Unfortunately, I think Anita was a much better Jane Seymour. If they mean to portray Jane as sweet and demure as she was in the second season, they totally failed. This chick can't act naturally and she seems kind of fake :(

  • A quote from Sir Robert Naunton was this about Henry..He never spared a man in his anger, nor woman in his lust. Can you tell I love learning the truth about this King? He was buried alongside Jane Seymour, the only one of his wives whose death he mourned, and the only one to have provided him with a legitimate male heir-his burning aim through so much of his reign.

Many actual prints from those that knew him that were saved & published in this book are just awesome.

  • I honestly think he mourned in his own way the death of Katherine of Aragon. She is buried in the Peterbourough Cathedral as she wished. I am interested in reading that book by Ian Crofton you mentioned. I bet it is fascinating. I have many but not that particular one.

  • sorry to say but henery had no remorse for queen katherine's death, he and ann wore yellow the day that her death was announced a color at that time in history when yellow ment happy times.

  • Jane was not as demure & shy as revisionist historians would have us believe..she was just as scheming as Anne.

  • Also, that eye patch guy really creeps me out...

  • The Tudors bring an exemplary statue to the aspect of Tudor England. From Katherine of Aragon (1509 - 1533) to Katherine Parr (1543 - 1547) we all want to know everything there is. Also we must give honor to the rise of the greatest ruler of England, Elizabeth I (1558 - 1603). Lastly if any person is Non - Catholic the he should too thank the Tudors for they are the reason and the separation of the unholy church. God Bless Henry VII, Henry VIII, Edward VI, (Jane Grey), Mary I, and Elizabeth!

  • Truly..without Henry we would not have King James Bible. If Mary had not been childless God help us. Elizabeth ruled with her head..not emotions as Mary & Edward VI..whom was dubbed A cold-hearted prig.

  • charles's 2nd wife looks exactly like his first.

  • the costumes are amazing!

  • okay I am confused where did Sir Francis come from?

  • well, he was related to anne B., Katy Howard, and even Jane seymour. So when i thinks about it. all the ladys in waiting were related in some way. Francis, I believe was also related to Princess Elizabeth's Keeper.

  • I'm sorry but Anita Briem was a better Jane Seymour. Why was she replaced?

  • I LOVE LOVE LOVE THE TUDORS!

  • everywhere i go i see white people..

  • OH golly how I love thy show.

  • Will there be no gratuitous sex scenes on these YouTube versions?

  • youtube deffinitely wouldn't allow them

  • no, these episodes on youtube are edited versions of the show, for the unedited version, you're going to have to watch it on showtime during the time they specifically have it playing. The same episode will be playing April 5th on show time and it will have the sex scenes you're hoping for. =)

  • Gosh how I LOVE this show!!

  • TV 14 i thought there was "adult" content in the tudors?!

  • There is but this is just the soft verson. In the complete versons on all season there is so much sex that you can't help but blush

  • Is this like that movie called "The other Boleyn girl?" Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

  • Yes I know what you're talking about. The Tudors is the same premise as the movie only the Tudors goes into much much more detail. I also kind of think the movie and the series tell the story a little differently but the gist is for the most part the same. Watch the series. It's EXCELLENT!

  • The Other Boleyn GIrl mainly focuses on Anne Boleyn the second wife of Henry VIII

(: Its kinda based on it

  • So Mary is the one that had the boy which should have been the heir to the thrown instead of Elizabeth, but since Mary's baby boy was consider illegitimate that's why he didn't assume the thrown right? That suck and no offense but I think that was not fair.

  • Well the first boy he had was by one of queen Kathrine's(first wife) Ladys. but he dies at like age 5

  • you mean henry fitzroy (Bessie Bount) I think he died at 17ish

  • in the show he died at like 4 or 5

  • Oh but he did have a son with Mary doesn't he? Well at least that's what I got from the movie, but then again is just a movie. Who do I believe? Maybe I should do some research of my own. lol. Interesting though and thanks :)

  • Mary did have a son named Henry Cary and some believe that his father was Henry the Eighth. Cary was the last name of Mary's husband at the time.

  • Uhm he eventually does have son who goes by the name of edward. But that was with a later wife who also goes by the name of Katherine. I think his last wife. Lol no problem (: The tudors are really quite interesting when it comes to Henry VIII. :D Have fun researching

  • Jane Seymour was the mother of Edward .

  • Just thought I should mention...Jane Seymour is the mother of Edward, Henry III's son. But his last wife was named Katherine.

  • Oh haha! (:

    Thanks for the info.

Hes got too many wives. :D

  • yes natalie portman plays anne boelyn and scarlett plays mary boelyn

  • I thuoght that movie so sucked. But thats just my thoughts. I thought Natalie Portman was the best out of everyone and I thuoght Scarlett Johansen needs to go back to acting class. lol

    cheers

  • Natalie beats all the other actors no matter what she does

  • they're about the same subject but the Tudors is more historically accurate and there are a lot of differences between the two

  • I'm kind of a history buff, so I thought I would not like The Tudors. I thought it would get boring, since I know how it turns out. It nevers does! It has me guessing. I know it is only based on real people and real events, but I love it.

  • Lol its actually interesting! :D

Lol its pretty cool that they brought it up into such interesting ways

  • how many weddings will he have to do

  • Eh...well there were what? 6? 8 wives? Something like that. I think 6 so....lol:)

  • until he explodes of fatness

  • i would love to bang that blonde

  • I am so glad that showtime posted this for all to see. I'll be checking it out on april 5 for sure. I'm glad that JRM isn't fat the show needs sex appeal and JRM is my eye candy. I hope that it goes all the way to elizabeth

  • actually i think it ends on his marraige to katferine howard, but for a season 4, maybe even 5, we shall see.

  • The use of legends and folklore reflected the Romantics' interest in and concern for the common people.

  • if I didnt know the history, I would think henry would cut off Jane's head soon as well! She should be scared!

  • i would love to wear their dresses!

  • Me too - I would love to get dressed up in one of those dresses!

  • I love the Tudors, the only reason why I'd watch showetime and order it lol

  • for everyone saying that he was handsome and then fat when he got older....please...every portrait of him depicts him as a pasty ugly fat man.

  • idk if any1 else has noticed but thats not the same Jane Seymour from the series thats a different actress, the actress from the second season is Anita Briem, thats not her.

  • Then why search for it you fucking idiot

  • i don't have showtime! I'm so upset!

  • It seems so strange with Anne dead and I don't care for this new Jane, the other actress really seemed the sweet, innocent woman.

As much as King Henry is hot. I'm really liking Sir Francis Bryan (Is that his last name?) him and his one eye lol. I'm not sure what kind of storyline they will end up with but I like him with ursula miseldon.

This season should be really good, I can feel it. Will make up for crappy storylines on All My Children lol except I want more Jake and Amanda!!

  • normally i cant stand to watch soap operas of any kind, but i have to admit, 'The Tudors' is much more fascinating that 'One Life to Live' or 'General Hospital' LOL i just started watching it literally 2 days ago, and now i'm hooked. i've only watched about 4 episodes so far, but i actually really like it. Maybe next they'll do a series based on the future Queen Elizabeth's reign. . . . .oh, and thank you very much for uploading this!!! i hereby award you 20, 000 brownie points!!! ^_^

  • 0:56 Curiously, in the Middle Ages, when two people had sex, a blurry cloud formed around the woman's boobies that blocked all sight of them. Scholars would later call this effect the Holy Pixelation of Antioch.

  • :):)

  • ohmigod!i think i get it now!by reading LL OF YOUR COMMENT THIS SEEM I'VE LEARN IT ALL READY!!!!!!ehhhh yea if this is the story i've learned.............

  • that girl will never be able to pull anything off she's such an idiot

  • looks like a buncha fuckin actors

  • more Europeans pretending to be moors lmfao....you fucks ran nothing. all of England was under melinated Moorish ruler ship... we let you out the caves and this is what you do

  • i didn't know the king got gout so young!

  • it's so sad because in real life, henry never got over Jane, she was always the apple of his eye, she gave him a son but died in childbirth. edward was a sickly boy though and wasn't king for long, it's a good thing too because then mary wouldn't have become queen and elizabeth wouldn't have been able to clean up her mess.

  • u would think that the lady mary is anne's daughter!! she looks so much like her =)

  • King Henry looks absolutely gorgeous. I wonder if all of the episodes will be posted.

  • So far so good, Showtime. Here's hoping the new season can keep up the momentum.

  • The 1st two sesons were phenomenal. I'm looking forwrd to season 3, even though I miss Queen Anne, who's gotten a major raw deal in the history books.

  • wats gonna happen to mary????

    can anyone tell meh

    plss!!!!!!!!!!!

  • she will become queen along with her sister elizabeth and they will share a tomb together. :-D

  • elizabeth and mary don't share a tomb.

  • erh. yes they do. both are buried close to each other in westminster abbey. They share an inscription,"Partners both in Throne and grave, here rest we two sisters, Elizabeth and Mary, in the hope of one resurrection".

  • I think that Henry starts losing his mind when he executes Anne Boleyn. He loved & respected her, made her Marquess of Pembroke, crowned her his Queen, gave her a fantastic coronation with fireworks, he did everything for her. Why doesn't Henry give Jane a coronation? I think that he married Jane right away to get a male heir. Just because she does her duty she is successful. It breaks my heart to see how cruel Henry can be towards his daughters Just how deep is his pain?

  • Bingo. I believe it was for over 7 yrs that henry chased anne anne or something like that. I read somewghere that he waited to coronate jjane for the male heir issue

  • I agree. It is said that on the day of anne's coronation, he rode on land while she rode on the river (something like that) so he wouldnt steal her thunder. When it came for Jane to be crowned there was a London Plague issue & Henry wanted his male heir and wanted Jane to deliver (literally) I think henry was a nut and the king of whores and I still says dammit henry and God save the queen (all of them)!!!!

    :-D

  • i feel the same, how could he be so mean to his daughters

  • wow! didn't know that! i knew some body's got moved around. but doesn't elizabeth have her own sarcophogus?

  • Yes. They both do I believe. But there are literally within steps of each other. :-D

Lol. everybody's bonmes were moved around in those days. It is said that Anne Boylen and other in st peter vinicula are scattered in the chapel as well. Always being moved. I know anne's remains were moved during queen victoria's reign

  • Yes. It's in Westminster Abbey.

  • mary become "bloody mary" queen of england. she doesn't last long though. anne's daughter succeeds her as elizabeth I.

  • what happened to the old jane?

  • Excellent...it's going to be another good season

  • did anyone else notice the 'previously' scenes were done with annabelle wallis rather than season 2's jane? XD

  • yes, that was the first thing I really noticed. You can't miss it because they look nothing alike.

  • I own both seasons on dvd, and im sure this season won't dissapoint me. :)

  • I miss Natalie Dormer already.

  • me too! :)

  • great graphics, lol

  • ^ click it

  • ok wait......why did that one shepherd guy have a huge red thing on his face and why did henery have a huge wound on his leg?

  • He got the wound in season 2 after he fell off his horse didn't he? As for the shepherd's skin, its probably discoloration of some sort caused by a disease? Psoriasis? Malasma? Whether or that was makeup, idk.

  • I thought it was a port wine birthmark.

    Perhaps?

  • Okay, true story: King Henry hurt his leg while hunting when he was younger. When he got older, the old wound opened up again and never healed. I forget the technicalities of what actually happened, but once the wound on his leg opened up and got all infected or whatever, that's when his health went down hill and he got all fat and gross...He deserved it. As for the discoloration on the boy's face, that's his actual skin. It has nothing to do with the show.

  • It was a jousting accisent according to my history books on the Kings & Queens of England,,and he was not that young when it happened.

His waist span was 52 inches at his death according to my books from England.

  • Really? From what I read, I got the impression that he was pretty huge when he was older because he was constantly constipated and bloated...and akways stuffing his face. And he looks big in his portraits, too. Eh, but if it's in a history book I'll take you at your word.

  • Well,a waist girth of 52-54 inches is huge. The book I have is The Kings & Queens of England by Ian Crofton, with historical documents, pictures etc. A truly enlightning book if your interested in this period of history. It says in 1546 King Henry did not have long to live. It is thought he suffered from gout, dropsy, chronic sinusitis &am
