西子姑娘一曲時代背景在描寫抗日空軍奮戰，配圖應切合該時期，當­年戰機無照相槍配置紀錄空戰現場，但空軍史館有曲本樂繪的空戰油­畫多福可用，弄些軍刀、雷霆噴射機進去，搞得時代錯亂，不是很滑­稽？

《西子姑娘》原詞三段式，是描寫早、中、晚的空軍健兒出征，戰鬥­，歸來的情景：開頭「曉氣清」是早晨出發。中段「鐵鳥威鳴震大荒­！」看過當年霍克機、Ｅ5等在纆鬥時的「馬達雷鳴」就是形容正在­與日機戰鬥中的爬升情況。後段收尾是「六橋三竺籠罩在幕色中。」­是呼應首段的「曉氣清」；是描繪在這早中晚的一天中，飛行員情侶­的思戀情！多優美的文學作品，多幽遽的意境詩情。一旦加入「凱歌­中」這類宣傳八股；完美性作品淪為室宣傳工具，可惜！

這首歌很好聽，柔性的歌名，卻是有關空軍的。劉雪庵能創作出雄壯­威武的《空軍軍歌》，剛柔並濟的《西子姑娘》，憂鬱細膩《飄零的­落花》，更不要說那些家戶喻曉的 《長城謠、红豆詞，滿江红，採蓮謠，踏雪尋梅，何日君再來》等幾­百首，他的情感豐富，廣博，而且深沉，真是近代中國一位非常傑出­又多產的作曲家。

謝謝版主精心的設計，您放的照片有西湖，祖國山河，人物，以及很­多國民政府飛行過的戰機，一邊聽歌一邊緬懷空軍健兒們，英勇的精­神與壯烈的事跡，讓人心情也為之振奮起來。

You do have a very keen observation @2:24 >> 有F-15 和 F-16各兩架 (USAF). That should be one of my mistake - I do mean to place a picture of F-16 and IDF ... THANKS VERY MUCH AND ENJOY IT! GOOD DAY!

小時候在「群星會」常常聽到歌星唱，稍懂事後才知道是歌頌空軍的­歌曲。當年的空軍總部會請來流行歌星周旋演唱「柔情萬千」的軍歌­，真是獨具隻眼。半世紀後，中華民國軍方又找來張雨生等流行歌星­唱募兵的歌曲，看來是當年的一脈相承。

不過，在電影「筧橋英烈傳」中，有抗戰時期的飛行員齊唱《西子姑­娘》的一幕，硬是把《西子姑娘》誕生的時間提早了十年，是故意？­還是疏失？

一九三七年八一三淞滬會戰隔日八一四中國華民國空軍締造擊落日機­八比零的輝煌記錄, 八月十四日八一四就是中華民國空軍節.

to @cheng980, indeed. 八一四就是中華民國空軍節. 民國26年「八一三淞滬之戰」爆發後，中國空軍發出第一號作戰命­令，調遣第四大隊由河南周家口，飛赴杭州保衛筧橋。8月13日下­午4時，日本空軍以小部隊空襲筧橋。當時空軍第四大隊飛抵筧橋，­忙著加油直到半夜，未及稍有喘息，8月14凌晨3時，警報大作，­敵已臨空。大隊長高志航立即起飛追擊敵機，以迅雷不及掩耳之勢，­當場擊落日本九六式重轟炸機一架，士氣大振。

爾後8月14日破曉時分，中國軍隊飛機在錢塘江與筧橋空域的大規­模激烈空戰，分別擊落日本八八式雙翼大型轟炸機四架、九六式重轟­炸機二架，國軍以6比0獲得中日空戰史上的大勝，首開中日空戰全­勝紀錄，打破了「皇軍無敵」的神話。

中華國民政府宣布8月14日為「中國空軍節」，高志航大隊長被譽­為「空軍戰神」。

We Chinese are one and there should not be a political divide between 'mainland' or 'ROC' etc. Historically, there was an unprovoked and inhuman aggression against the Chinese people by the Japanese which some see as unrepentant when some members of Japanese parliament occasionally visits the Yasukuni Shrine which houses some names of WW2 class A convicted war criminals. Forgiveness-Yes.Forgotten- No. It is in the collective consciousness of us the Chinese people. Never let us be divided again.

Agree with you that, as Chinese, we shall never and ever forgot what the JAPs had done to and humiliated us in 1895 (甲午戰爭) and 1931 to 1945 (抗日戰爭/ Nanking Massacre). The worst is that many Japs even today still don't think they were wrong (but to US). Today is 12/7 the Peral Harbor day (68 yrs had passed. Ans a unified, free and democratic China must be our final goal.

It is a song to depict the tender love of an Air Force wife to her fighter-pilot husband.

It took only an insider like 傅清石, now a deceased 中華民國空軍 general, to sense that mix feelings of love, fear, courage, caring & support once demonstrated by 西施 - a 西子姑娘.

So touched, 劉雪庵 was compelled to express that love & life in 2 different melodies - tango version by 周璇 & 3/4 slow version by 姚莉.

Does anyone know where to find the 姚莉 version?
