I believe regular-season NHL games on the CBC were still in black-and-white as late as the early part oft he 1968/69 season (maybe until January of 1969??).

The game was shown in color on WSBK in Boston, but I believe WSBK drove their own color remote truck over 400 miles to do so. Until the CBC began covering "Hockey Night In Canada" regular-season games in color from Montreal and Toronto, WSBK would drive their color truck up to both places.
