If you know anything about banks at all, & how credit works, you will realize that the greatest profits a baning firm can make is off late payments & the interest that comes with them.
They make no money if anyone pays them on time, & many banking forms & creadit card companies actually count on people being late for that very reason, not to mention large risky loans will pay back more than the average relatively safe type loan.

Name one country that hyper inflated their way out of an economic crisis, what about us? Didn't we just print a bunch of money to get us out of the great depression. Sure without world war 2 we would have probably self destructed, but we are working on WW3. Not that any of these things are good, but it has been done before. The order of events is a little off though.

I can't believe what is happening right now (i.e. Congress is leaving town because "nobody knows what to do", CNBC just reported a new RTC to assume all the bad debt, etc.) Sorry but why isnt anybody fucking listening to you and why isn't this being stopped??!! Likely these businesses will be sold off in small parcels, which will make for more compitition ( a good thing) people are waiting to start buying up the scraps, in fact it's already begun. While not the same,when the phone compainy was busted up things got better as the smaller bits became more competitive.

There is not real money in any bank to back what they say you have. Only a small percentage of people would be able to get there money. Goods would be way more expensive and therefore if you did have money it would be worthless. See Zimbabwe.

They make no money if anyone pays them on time, & many banking forms & creadit card companies actually count on people being late for that very reason, not to mention large risky loans will pay back more than the average relatively safe type loan.
Of course, you can only press you luck so far in that type of game before it all comes down around you like a house of cards in a tornado.

They listen to the crap that the media and politicians tell them. We're screwed. I'm certain that our politicians are at least partly responsible for this. That's why Cheney is now rich as hell and is moving to Dubai. The situation smells an awful lot like Argentina.

This situation is turning from bad to worse every passing day. Too many factors, actions and reactions to end the downward spiral. I've been talking about this crisis coming since 2001 when the dollar started dropping against the euro. No one, not one single person I know understood or cared. They don't think along economic lines and don't see beyond Dancing With the Stars, or American Idol.
