  • Gary Thain and Mel Shacker from grand funk my 2 fave 70 bass players

  • This was the first LP that introduced me to Uriah Heep when I was in the Army in 1976. I now own every one of their recordings up to Firefly on CD. Awesome group. I got to see them live in August of 1977 finally, but by then Byron was gone. Still a great concert that day.

  • unbelievable bass by Gary Thain!!!

  • Boring hippie symphony crap.

  • Fantastic! David you are irreplacable!

  • Fantastic! David you are irreplacable!

    What a voice! Unforgattable!

  • Nobody does a rock ballad like Byron could. His vocals were sublime and are unsurpassed. A REAL legend and sadly missed.

  • @LUFCbiker "The real rulers in Washington are invisible, and exercise power from behind the scenes."-Felix Frankfurter(Supreme Court Justice)

"In politics nothing is accidental. If something happens, be assured it was planned this way."-Franklin D. Roosevelt(32nd degree Mason) "Christianity is our foe. If animal rights is to succeed , we must destroy the Judeo-Christian religious tradition."-Peter Singer(professor at Princeton)

  • Great band!!!

  • Tutti miti! Grandi in tutto. Sono nella storia della musica! Vivono per sempre!

  • Драган, вот я смотрю и слушаю sweet freedom, Byron тут не на высоте, но это настоящий uriah heep!

  • Sweet Sweet Sweet!

  • Superb!! Tanxx..

  • Nice footage of a great band.

  • Great one thanks for sharing. R.I.P. David and Gary.

  • Wow what a treat...thanks for posting this gem.

  • Кен Хенсли велик!

  • I've listened to plenty of Heep, and, no I'm not a musician, but Mick Box (I'm getting ready to duck!), maybe I need to listen to a current live album, but, was he much of a flash player? Rough Diamond I actually prefer.

  • This particular song doesn't have many lead guitar parts... mostly rythym.

If you truly want to hear Mick Box, listen to "The Magician's Birthday". There is a "tour-de-force" on that song. That is one of the many reasons that Heep fans will protect the legacy of Mick Box.

  • @keithh1999 Turn up the bass, that is lead enough for me

  • @keithh1999 - you're right Mick was king but I love Lee's drum work! - Outstanding!!!!

  • I understand Sweet Freedom Has been re-released! Party down bros and sisters! My last copy was stolen 30 years ago! I got my copy back, finally. This was one of my favorite albums when I was 17. I'm 48 now. Kind of a bummer!
