If I could achieve even half of their physique in my 30s that would be enough.Many aging men have low testosterone levels to begin with and taking "Steroids"along with a solid training and nutrition program can improve can drastically improve the quality of life. This should be done under medical supervision of course.

Thus when you stop taking the steroid you will not even be able to get a decent erection. At 60 years old I would rather be slim and fit and able to satisfy a women without taking steroids or viagra.

You are absolutely correct. exogenous hormones "shuts down"the bodies testosterone production .The problem is that by that age your testosterone is already on the decline. What I would do is get tested and if it is low I would consider hormonal replacement therapy. Unfortunately it is not that simple because there are many other factors such as SBG , free testosterone levels,androgen receptor sensitivity ect….. A regular follow up with an experienced endocrinologist is crucial.
