My story basically..I came out to my parents when I was 14, and I came out to all my closest friends in school, no one minded. High school has been pretty easy because EVERYONE is my friend. The basketball team loves me because I get TONS of people to come watch their games. All of the 'clicks' love me. So I think I got super lucky because I've never really been bullied about my sexuality. I think if someone is struggling, life gets better.

I finished my last year of highschool last year. And I moved to a new school in grade 11, and met my 'first love. We dated for almost a year. Everyone knew I was gay/bi but my partner was the 'straight' popular kid, so it was abit hard for us. But we kept it low profile. His parents never liked me and always tried causing problems with my family, calling my mum on the phone for 2 hours asking if there was anything going on between us. We broke up and he said he's 'straight' now. Lesson learnt.

Nobody cared at all that I'm gay, and everybody accepted me just the same. It didn't even phase them. My advice is that even if you have been told your entire life by your family that being gay is wrong people at college could usually care less about your sexuality. College is the perfect time to start living the way that you want to live. Everybody else is experiencing independance for the first time as well so people for the most part understand why us gays want to come out in college.
I felt like it was a perfect opportunity to give feedback on the subject and come out at the same time, and so I said "Yeah, I heard about that and I was really distraught because that hits really close to home for me because I've experienced bullying for that reason as well in highschool." Nobody cared at all that I said that, and most of my male friends actually responded saying things along the lines of "Yeah, that's fucked up. I don't understand how people could be so cruel."

Just remember its easy for straight people to say sex should be between a man and a woman only because that's what they're biologically inclined to desire. My story basically..I came out to my parents when I was 14, and I came out to all my closest friends in school, no one minded. High school has been pretty easy because EVERYONE is my friend. The basketball team loves me because I get TONS of people to come watch their games. All of the 'clicks' love me. So I think I got super lucky because I've never really been bullied about my sexuality. I think if someone is struggling, life gets better.

I knew very early on that I was attracted to guys. I used to be so jealous of straight guys because they didn't have to go through what I went through. I even resorted to cutting myself. i am 17 and gay, i live in california, and tbh it hasnt been easy being gay in my home since it isnt very tolerated, but one learns to cope with it. My religion doesnt mesh together with my sexuality but i believe in god. i think, just like youve said before, its jus a part of me, i have other qualities as well and dont like to be classified or jus described by my sexuality. im just human like everyone else

School was a little difficult, because in middle school the teachers, principle, school board, etc., did not condone any sort of physical affection, such as; kissing, holding hands, etc. Not even between a male and female, so when I had a girlfriend, it was even harder because basically the school didn't even acknowledge gays, lesbians, bisexuals, transgenders, etc. Other than that I'm really proud of my sexual orientation. Hopefully my mum will be as accepting as everyone else. ((:

Hey Folks, I am Drew i am 28 years old and i am a gay mormon, i struggle with my faith more then i do my sexuality, but thats because i love myself, and i know jesus loves me. its the people in the church that write "laws" for god, so i dont believe anything that was written by man, for the most part when it comes to my beliefs, since i know that i am a child of god and he created me in his image, i know i am no less then my straight counter parts. I finished my last year of highschool last year. And I moved to a new school in grade 11, and met my 'first love. We dated for almost a year. Everyone knew I was gay/bi but my partner was the 'straight' popular kid, so it was abit hard for us. But we kept it low profile. His parents never liked me and always tried causing problems with my family, calling my mum on the phone for 2 hours asking if there was anything going on between us. We broke up and he said he's 'straight' now. Lesson learnt.

HIV (human imunodeficiency virus) however, replicates itself, like any virus, in both homo and heterosexuals. HIV is believed to have evolved from SIV (an ape version), which spread in to humans who butchered them for meat via cuts on their hands.
Lesbian sex has a far lower risk of HIV transmission than vaginal-penile sex, hint hint ;).

And It came from American scientist (and a few others I believe) in Africa experimenting on chemicals to spray/ inject/ have air borne ways to kill the enemies and terrorist in other countries. Well shit happens and the product called Aids came to America by accident. Also there are thousands of children born all over the world with Aids. So it doesnt just "breed in Gays"!!

It is up to us as free thinking people to choose what we want to believe from what we are taught and develop our own faith and belief based on our experiences, for sure, but inside you know what is right and wrong regardless of what others tell you. be proud of who you are.

Nobody cared at all that I'm gay, and everybody accepted me just the same. It didn't even phase them. My advice is that even if you have been told your entire life by your family that being gay is wrong people at college could usually care less about your sexuality. College is the perfect time to start living the way that you want to live. Everybody else is experiencing independance for the first time as well so people for the most part understand why us gays want to come out in college.

I felt like it was a perfect opportunity to give feedback on the subject and come out at the same time, and so I said "Yeah, I heard about that and I was really distraught because that hits really close to home for me because I've experienced bullying for that reason as well in highschool." Nobody cared at all that I said that, and most of my male friends actually responded saying things along the lines of "Yeah, that's fucked up. I don't understand how people could be so cruel."

I'm living on dorm, and I just recently came out to all of my friends all at once at a party. We were sitting in a room talking, and the topic came up about a few recent cases of bullied homosexuals commiting suicide.
