@SalmanBacha Yes, it is available where ever you are in the world unless your country has a restriction on its use. No need for an internet connection to get a GPS Fix.

@SalmanBacha you don't need to hack your phone; if you have the 5230 you dont need the bluetooth at all, just uncheck the gps bluetooth, go to apps > location > positioning > postioning methods and uncheck the gps bluetooth and you're done

it will no longer ask for bluetooth connection

@SalmanBacha There is a funtion called 'Assisted GPS' or A-GPS is a feature that can fix your position aster thatn stand-alone GPS systems. Although it will require Internet connection.

@MrRehan2009 No need for interenet access to use Nokia's turn by turn navigation. Just make sure you have the maps pre-loaded already on your phone. You can do that by using OVI Suite.

@acceliumslings Naka ON la sa akin yung Integrated GPS. Here's how you set it up :

"Integrated GPS"

Go to : Applications>Location>Position­­ing>Positioning Methods> Check only "Integrated GPS".

Go outside your house, turn on your phone and wait for a GPS Fix. It takes about a few seconds to a couple of minutes to get a fix. Hintay mo lang.

@qudratzazai Have you tried updating the map software and maps on your phone using OVI Suite? Try it. Download and Install OVI Suite on your PC then Connect your phone. It'll show you all the updates available for your phone. OVI Suite can be downloaded on Nokia's website.
