Eyring... mr, waterworks... is simply a propagandist. The leadership of the Mormon Church are responsible for what happened. These guys are masters of cover-up and will never admit direct responsibility. One note; Eyring ALWAYS crys when he gives a speech. I have never seen him give a speech without waterworks. These gusy (the Mormon leadership) know the truth. It just isn't a good business decision to take responsibility of EVERYTHING that happened here. They have to keep the truth hidden.

@dirtdarte It's funny, however they may try to distort the evil that came straight from the "prophet", within the distortion Young is condemned by his own statement, "the immigrants were not to be touched". That means he knew there was a plan in place to murder these people. The reply of "Too late" further implicates Young as the mastermind responsible behind this vile massacre. Eyring sites local leadership as responsible parties, but in Mormonism, local leaders are merely extensions of Young.
