My man that car has a dash from 65 XP series. The from 60 through to 64. Their dashes were dipped in the centre, with the XP being the only model to go straight across in a continual line. Padding was optional that year. The 65 Aussie was actually the Canadian 63 Ford Comet series with FOMOCO Australia taillights and badges. I noticed the FORDOMATIC 35 badge on the rear, defining BorgWarner 35 auto Transmission as original delivery for this model. Great work .

I think you will find that the badge reads Fordomatic 3S meaning 3 speed ( not 35 as meaning type 35) as it was the first year that Ford went from the 2 speed auto to the 3 speed auto. In 1965 the Holden HD went the other way 2 speed from the Hydromatic 3 speed found in the EH..
