Considering I only got about 1-2 hours of game in on AC2 for 2-3 nights a week, I'd say that taking a month and a half to finish the storyline alone is pretty quick, and taking a few months after that for all the extras is nice, as well.
College keeps me busy, so I don't get that much game time in. XD

What's amazing about this game is that it so booooring it'll actually feel like it's never gonna end. Everytime you play it you'll have to push youself to finish another boooring (and identical to the previous) mission and it'll take days and days to finish cause you will have to play it little by little.
I'm still baffled how badly they managed to screw this one up. It's got all the potential but with the execution of Donkey Kong or Ice Climber. Ice Climber goes 3D (minus fun).

Did they add more phrases to, so that you don't have to listen to "Indifel!" every time you piss off a guard or "I wish my brothers/sons were half as brave as you" every time you save one of the millions and millions of citizens?

Yes buy it. It's an excellent game, these guys are fools. It's my favorite game and i've played tons of the new nex gen games. It is a little repetetive but trust me it more than makes up for it. Besides its 20$ used at gamestop now..
Also this game had so much hype before it, that the expectations for the game were Sky High, and when it failed to deliver, people turned on it. It kind of shot itself in the foot before starting the race.
The game lacks in every area which would make it a "Good game". The whole thing feels quickly thrown together and the lack of achievements for the "GTA" style side quests are soul destroying. Above all though, hearing those damn people all say the same thing when I save them almost drove me to smash my PC into pieces. If you want something fun and nice to look at with a heavily disappointing structure and re playability then this is the game for you.
Assassins Creed was better on PC. The Side Quests are built and structured alot better with actual meat to the sub plots they offer. The game was re-done on PC but that still doesn't make the game replayable just to kill all the Templars and Flags doesn't seem worth it to me. The City and setting was gorgeous and fun as hell to run around in. I Give the game 7.5/10. The Kingdom Area is worthless without any quests to flesh out the area.
the game feels realistic but until you kill hundreds of guards without running and without getting killed ( and people are still wondered who this could have done, with you standing praying on some dead bodies) :)
it basicly depends on what type of gamer you are to decide if you'll like this game or not, short attention span people who need the flashy instant satisfaction wont like this game, the more patient gamer will.

AC2 is a fairly long game, and I wouldn't expect ACB to be any longer tan AC2.

What's amazing about this game is that it so booooring it'll actually feel like it's never gonna end. Everytime you play it you'll have to push youself to finish another boooring (and identical to the previous) mission and it'll take days and days to finish cause you will have to play it little by little.
I'm still baffled how badly they managed to screw this one up. It's got all the potential but with the execution of Donkey Kong or Ice Climber. Ice Climber goes 3D (minus fun).

Did they add more phrases to, so that you don't have to listen to "Indifel!" every time you piss off a guard or "I wish my brothers/sons were half as brave as you" every time you save one of the millions and millions of citizens?
Did they add anymore hidey spots?
Did they add an actual reason to explore the sandbox?
Did they add some colors?
Did they add a interesting story?
The game is pure crap. Unless you're REALLy into visual graphics the game is the biggest flop ever.

I don't care wat they say, assassin's creed is the best game ever. the combat system is great so is the story line. I've played the ipod version of it (which is pretty crappy compare to the pc/xbox one) I'm downloading the first one on my pc right now and I cant wait till its done.

i played it in ps3 and now on pc and i prefer pc!the game is realy repetitive,its fun at start,to gain your weapons and single-handed take over a dozen guys lol and walking in the middle of the crowd and push them away makes you real feel like a badass

Lol these guys didnt get what half the game was.. You weren't going on top of the towers to magically see people to eavesdrop, it was to recover your memory. They should've payed more attention to the in depth story line and the basis it had in our actual history instead of paying attention to the things a moron could have drawn from it at a glance. Assassins Creed was an excellent game and i cant wait for the 2nd one

i am going to buy this game tomorow but i don't think that u should. insted buy gta IV or bionic comando as ur first game :) BUT whatever u do,do not buy assasin alone, but if u really want it try to buy 2 games because first u will become addicted to it but after like 3 hours u will turn off ur Xbox.. so buy 2 games if u can afford it. haha my first game was Crackdown XD

well i didnt see this comment until today, so i got my 360 and off to gamestop. i ended up buying Halo 3 and Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter. So now taking your advice into hand, i guess i can get Assassin's Creed now concidering i have my first 2 games :)

Yes buy it. It's an excellent game, these guys are fools. It's my favorite game and i've played tons of the new nex gen games. It is a little repetetive but trust me it more than makes up for it. Besides its 20$ used at gamestop now..

Also this game had so much hype before it, that the expectations for the game were Sky High, and when it failed to deliver, people turned on it. It kind of shot itself in the foot before starting the race.

The game lacks in every area which would make it a "Good game". The whole thing feels quickly thrown together and the lack of achievements for the "GTA" style side quests are soul destroying. Above all though, hearing those damn people all say the same thing when I save them almost drove me to smash my PC into pieces. If you want something fun and nice to look at with a heavily disappointing structure and re playability then this is the game for you.

Assassins Creed was better on PC. The Side Quests are built and structured alot better with actual meat to the sub plots they offer. The game was re-done on PC but that still doesn't make the game replayable just to kill all the Templars and Flags doesn't seem worth it to me. The City and setting was gorgeous and fun as hell to run around in. I Give the game 7.5/10. The Kingdom Area is worthless without any quests to flesh out the area.

- Combat was way too easy.
- you do too many times the same thing.
the game feels realistic but until you kill hundreds of guards without running and without getting killed ( and people are still wondered who this could have done, with you standing praying on some dead bodies) :)

i dont like the game but its a great game and one of the bests games done and pretty elegant too.
Perhaps its all the same stuff and you only assasinate but its the first of this tipe.
Dont give such a bad publicity only because youve played the game and dislke it.
